I don't quite understand why bitcoin should be studied in business schools? The price of bitcoin can't be predicted, therefore, it is impossible to teach)

Hey not just these institutions but you know.

God I totally see small kids studying about Bitcoins in the social science sector when they are in middle school. Well they teach about the fiat and the old currencies and everything why not Bitcoins ?
Because it's such an important part of today's world that it's literally indespensible and off course kids needs the right knowledge thus the crash course that many schools are offering and so many institutions too could provide a healthy environment for cryptos and..help in it's growth .
But then again it's on the authorities what to teach them about .. light or dark . Smiley

I don't think it is necessary to actually have a formal sort of education with regards to bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency. You can actually learn much more by reading articles online as this is most of us here in the forum learns/learned. If cryptocurrency will be incorporated in business schools, I think it is more appropriate to have it as a part or as a topic of certain area of studies such as economics since cryptocurrency exists in the financial and economic status of the nation. As much as it is good, beneficial and shows that there is a great potential in crypto, I just don't think it is needed as mentioned.

Damn, this is huge Cheesy i believe creating a course exclusive for Bitcoin discussions or crypto currency as a whole will help in future economic growth. it will help people to know about the topic openly. this is what we want.

What are the students taught on these Bitcoin courses? How to be a Bitcoin fund manager or how to start a Bitcoin start-up company? I doubt they are being taught the engineering side of things.

Some of the top business schools have now incorporated Bitcoin classes into their curriculum. See link below.

https://www.ccn.com/top-business-schools-add-bitcoin-classes-expand-cryptocurrency-mba-course-offerings/

1. Do you think that creating a course exclusive for Bitcoin discussions or crypto currency as a whole will help in future economic growth?
2. What do you think would be the general effect of these classes if they were to be implemented in majority of our schools?

Your inputs will be greatly appreciated. 👍👍👍
Bitcoin is that cryptocurrency that must be known to everyone in the world and still there are thousands of people in many remote areas where people are completely unaware of BTC, therefore awareness must be created among people so that they can prepare themselves for the future and the best people are the youth and the best way is to introduce BTC as a subject in school curriculum.

I would agree if it is called the cryptocurrency class, where there is a discussion of cryptocurrency technology in general and broad not only about bitcoin. This is an advance that can help the development of this technology because young people are able to study it officially. It would be great if the countries with the world's largest bitcoin adopters come to emulate this positive thing.

Being in economic and don't know about bitcoin is just.. can't describe.. Being without that knowledge in economic is being for nothing, it has no idea.
It must be learn for students who study business and economy but universities and lecturers really don't care much about that. It's great some universities decided to include bitcoin in their curriculum but it mustn't be in some, it must be globally in almost all university. When I lecturer if he/she has heared about bitcoin, they stop and say what? Have heared from TV, what is that? Is it scam?  and etc..

Hello $$$sparkles$$$,

We at Anycoin Direct believe an education in bitcoin and cryptocurrency is essential for anyone participating in the market right now. With the current craze for cryptocurrencies it is easy to get lost in the thousands of applications and use-cases that are being presented by new ICO's. Getting a basic knowledge on the topic of blockchain technology and the history of bitcoin will help future users be able to differentiate between high and low quality projects. Besides the quality of the project, also the actual usability and necessity for the project can be properly put in perspective.

The direct impact it will have has just been described, however it will have a more positive outcome on the long-run as well. When people see that the technology behind bitcoin is legitimate and schools help spread the image that bitcoin is a great invention it will lead the way to huge innovations. Not only due to the global acceptance of this technology but also due to the higher amount of people that can do research, development and analysis on cryptocurrency, bitcoin and the blockchain in general.

If you have any questions about resources on cryptocurrencies, blockchain or the history of bitcoin please feel free to send a DM.

With kind regards,
The Anycoin Direct team
Hi!

It's good to know that a cryptocurrency support team such as yours exist. Many old and new 'cryptonians' (if you may  😊) will surely benefit from your work. I am praying great success for your team.

The move to incorporate Bitcoin classes in University curriculums or special classes entails a good effect on the image of Bitcoin in the midst of all the FUD's or scam accusations. It is just frustrating to make people understand that the scam activities involving Bitcoin is not the making of Bitcoin itself but the people behind these activities! It's amazing to know how many people are so pickle-minded.

This is a very good news and I think this contribute magnificiently on world economic growth. Classes on bitcoin will help them to have proper knowledge on bitcoin and they will be able to invest more efficiently on bitcoin and earn much profit. This will lessen the number of people who gets packed easily and sell their bitcoin at a very low price. That's wht i think such courses should be arranged for general people too.

if bitcoin becomes even a chapter in the ICT course where they get to learn the basics, it will create more awareness and it will make a lot of students financially independent as they get to learn how to invest in bitcoin

It's interesting to see how these top business schools are aware of the future of bitcoin and the role that it will play in the world in the coming years. With regard to the question raised, I think that the effect of these classes in schools would be positive since people would be familiar with bitcoin from a young age.
Maybe the business schools are not aware of the future of bitcoin, but this is a kind of fancy course so why not to include it in the curriculum. It will draw the attention of the youth, so they will most likely choose this school instead of the other where there's nothing about blockchain. This can also be a point.
On the other hand, I'm sure that if those young people are not too lazy, they would find (nearly) everything on the internet. If they are really interested, they don't need a class about it because they will search for it in their freetime and they will discuss it when having a beer with the classmates in the pub.

Of course this is a thing to be studied, almost everyone including those who hate Bitcoin recognize the block chain is going to be a cornerstone of tons of future technology and financial futures.
yes of course we have to learn things we have not learned in business, because the business is very important and must have expertise.

In addition to specialized business classes we need Bitcoin courses available to anyone - that's important to break that wall of fear and uncertainty that surrounds crypto. Only then can we hope for the future economic growth.

I'm highly appreciate those schools that already starting to implement bitcoin classes in their schools curriculum because it will be the big help to our new generation to have advance awareness to the possible flow in future economy. I do believe that cryptocurrency will really implementing and legalizing by all the people all over the world that's why the advance enhancement and knowledge about it will probably very useful to our young youth in a way of preparing their selves in constructing and making their brighter future.

Bitcoin is now part of our financial system whether we like or not and therefore schools will really be interested to know more of this development and phenomenon so its not a big wonder if Bitcoin will be incorporated into many curriculum. This is just the right thing to do and this can be helping Bitcoin get into the mainstream population. But more then Bitcoin, I think they should be delving on the benefits and the many technicalities on the blockchain technology.

If business school fail to include bitcoin in their curriculum they will be left behind in the financial evolution that is taking place. Colleges will some study blockchain as course.
