will there be hookers for bitcoins? would solve the sausage fest problem  

If this falls through you might consider planning a group event on a traditional cruise ship and coordinate with the company to reserve sections of the ship for private group events.

People might be more amenable to this than a potential sausage fest.

So what's happening? Are we getting something organised or not?

I wanted a swimming pool cause it would be a fun addition especially if we wanted to organise competitions, etc, but it's not a deal breaker I guess.
A Catamaran, with or without sails?
If we get a Gulet, I know how to sail, but we would need a few more ppl on board who also know how to sail, it's a team effort, plus I wouldn't be stong enough for some tasks if it's a big one, and I'm scared of heights i.e. climbing up the masts is a no-no for me.

Depends on how big you want it to be I mean how many persons will have to get on board because it will be useless to rent a cruise ship that has 250 capacity when there will only be 20 persons on board 

This is why I recommend a Catamaran or a Gulet, the experience will be much more interesting and we will save a lot on fuel

I think a cruise would be pretty cool if it was just like a floating conference or expo. Would make it a bit more exciting, especially if they stopped off at some cities where bitcoin was used a lot.


That's not exactly true. I heard there were a few people charged using their Blackberries. Assuming you're safe by letting someone else look after your privacy is how people get caught. BB's are probably only anonymous in the same way bitcoin is ie not if you're not very careful with it.

Do you know how many Londoners were charged a few years ago when they organized the riot in North London over BBM? 0 (zero)!!!!

Nothing is safe from the NSA, especially not Blackberries is that's what you mean by BB? What plan are you on where you get 2gb anywhere in Europe?

I can assure you my phone is secure!Oh and guess what my phone is a BB so I don't stay at wifi owners pity!

as about wifi .... I don't even use wifi at work .... that's why I have unlimited data plan ... wanna see what I am doing on my phone ... hack my cellphone network

Cruise ships can be rented! That thing can't be rented as easy as a ship ... you have to buy it and then sell it if you find a buyer

How much do you think cruiseships cost? What are you proposing exactly? I've read the thread and it seems merely a fantasy pipedream. If you're worried about the internet on a ship I'd suggest you not bother with one, because clearly it wouldn't be suitable for your needs. I also don't think bitcoin will work out anywhere for you either as to use it publicly you'll likely have to use public wifi or your cell phone and they aren't exactly secure either.
