It isn't the bitcoin the dangerous but the people itself.
Though its price flacuates, that can't hack your identity but the people can.
In some countries, they banned bitcoin because they see it in the future as powerful.
Besides, the government doesn't know if it will be good or not to the country.
Because some countries are making their own cryptocurrrencies.

I think the danger is not, but risky. hence from that we must be careful in deepening bitcoin world.
indeed many countries that ban it but that does not mean should not use it. the state just wants to organize it and become the mastermind behind it for the security and prosperity of the country.
some other countries have imposed taxes on their investors.

It's dangerous because it makes individuals stronger and governments weaker.  Wink

There are two reasons which make bitcoin dangerous. First of all, bitcoin transaction is peer to peer.It is not possible to track the owner of that particular wallet addrer.Secondly, if everyone one uses bitcoin for transaction, what happen to the traditional bank. These things make worried to government.

Bitcoin is dangerous?  for me its not. It's not the bitcoin what makes it dangerous, its the people. Bitcoin has nothing to do with it because it's a digital currency it doesn't do anything except what is encoded in the program itself it is dangerous because there comes a logical thinking of being hacked by other people but there is nothing to be worried about because the security of bitcoin is pretty safe they have what so called the public key and the private key that keeps your wallet from being stolen.  Grin

i want to ask what makes the bitcoin dangerous? to the point that many countries prohibit the use of bitcoin in their countries. I want to hear your opinion

The best reason is that Bitcoin is supposedly a disruption of many things and it is beyond the total control of the government. That is why many countries are not allowing Bitcoin to flourish within their jurisdiction because they know that Bitcoin is returning the power to the people who are willing to use, hold and trade the cryptocurrency. However, as shown by the experience of Japan it is just a matter of introducing and implementing some regulations on its trading activities and can in fact be a good player in a country's economy if viewed just like a foreign exchange. With all the misconceptions and FUDs just lying around about Bitcoin, I am not wondering why some countries are banning Bitcoin as they failed to really understand and grasp the significance and real implications of this cryptocurrency.

From my own understanding bitcoin is not dangerous. If you all understand the risks in bitcoin, the issues in blockchain technology you will know it is not. There are issues that needs to resolved like slow confirmation of transactions, not yet accepted in other countries. But, we cannot say these are dangerous, the users itself can be dangerous. On how he/she treated bitcoin in using it on how a person can use bitcoin it's features.

I think bitcoin is banned in those countries not because bitcoin poses a certain level of danger to the user, but because these countries like China for example, think that bitcoin wouldn't benefit their economy and might even be a cause of their national currencies being obsolete and useless.

In my opinion it is not that bitcoin is dangerous that these said countries illegalized the use of cryptocurrencies, They banned bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies because they think that bitcoin wouldn't benefit their country's economy and might even turn their respective national currencies obsolete.

Bitcoin is never dangerous because it has a very stable base based on blockchain technology. But it would be dangerous if you buy btc haphazardly. Always buy in dips. Then you are safe.

Fluctuation makes Bitcoin more dangerous. The price is controlled by big investors that is why most of the governments have stared paying more attention to Bitcoin in compare to previous years.

Bitcoin is very dangerous now, do not buy because the price is very expensive.
Dangerous for those who do not receive technology, and for those who do not know that bitcoin is volatile.

Why the bitcoin is  prohibit from other countries because
The government is against to bitcoin. Bitcoin is not dangerous bitcoin is helping to people and to the country

One more reason is that it would reduce the liquidity of banks. Provided that bitcoin is large enough.

When bitcoin inevitably crashes, inexperienced investors who believed the hype could lose everything. Bitcoin has no safety mechanisms. Typically, you'll get a private key or random words which protect your wallet. If you lose your key, your funds will be gone with it. There's no support to contact, no way to change the password, and no way you could verify your identity to get your account back. When it's gone - it's gone, there's nothing anyone can do. If the government decides to declare owning Bitcoin illegal, you may find yourself in trouble.
