Bitcoin dominance is below 40%

Other altcoins gain dominance.

What do you think? It will correct like last year? I think we're going to have a big correction next days in altcoins price and market cap caused by an increase in btc price. But It will only recover 10-15% of dominance, not all.

If you look at the possible calculations then it is as you say. But look at the fact that currently Bitcoin still has the highest level of dominance and popularity. Bitcoin is still being developed and is now beginning to be applied to some financial sectors, I am sure if we can maintain this condition then we can see Bitcoin which is much better and can mean for our life in the future. Some Altcoins do show good prospects, but in the end we'll see that Bitcoin remains the best to be used widely in the future.

Yup! It can sure maintain its dominance to all coins we might see that the value of bitcoin doesn't move so much but I really think it will make a come back and will gain momentum anytime soon, We can see that Altcoins really gaining popularity and because it has cheaper value than bitcoin it is gaining more investors and we can see from its recent movement that many Altcoins have gain so much price in just a short time, That is why OP had thought that way.

Bitcoin is now dominating other digital currencies and even real money. For some time now it has gained so much dominance and a lot of countries worldwide are buying into it. From the look of things it will dominate for a longer period.

Tbh, for a healthy overall market it'd be nice for Bitcoin not to have so move crazy dominance & influence over the overall market. Having said that, I don't see BTC dominance ending anytime soon & expect it to stay in the 30% to 40% range during 2018.

There is no need to worry about price of btc, it will jump higher then ever before. Its just little correction of the price and the lots of people were selling because of the holidays and etc. So just sit and relax and enjoy. Smiley

Yeah, as bitcoin holder we have to not panic when the price move down. It is very common to happen. As you said, the previous holidays maybe is the main factor why the price moving down. As for now, the price start to climb again and that is good for sure.

If lightning network will be as good as what they say then I'm sure bitcoin will recover some dominance, IMO one of the most important reasons for people using altcoins is the high fees and transaction times in the bitcoin network.

im beginning to believe that the dominace of Bitcoins comes to an end. Altcoins will grow a lot more than BTC will in 2018. Modern, technical usefull and innavativ coins will be implemented in business and will prove its worth.
Yes that is true, bitcoin will be the true coin that will be with us until the end, that will put us though success in life, but of course, not now it can be after a year or a decade or so, just make sure to believe in what you are doing and patience is always in your mind. It is okay to invest in altcoins but it is just for a short term.
We can't tell when will gonna be the dominance of bitcoin in the world of digital currency and we don't set aside the potential of other altcoin that exist. But then it is a good news that bitcoin remain in its dominance for a long time because of this it attracts more new investors which make it an in demand coin today.

Even at 36% at the moment of writing this, Bitcoin still has the lion's share when it comes to dominance. Expect it's dominance to increase in the next few months but also remember XRP is constantly on it's neck as far as dominance is concerned.

Bitcoin will continue to dominate alt coin, I think it will regain it's maintaining increase like in the previous months. It's will keep on increasing because as of the moment more and more people are getting attracted to it's full potentials.
There's no doubt that bitcoin will continue and will remain dominant kind of digital currency that exist and I believe in that because today there's no kind of altcoin that could be like bitcoin and for that it is the reason why bitcoin remain dominant. And also due to increasing the community of bitcoin so that its status will still remain.

No matter to those figures Bitcoin has still the domimance and it will keep it.
The market is dynamic and the ratio is changing all the time, new altcoins appear all the time but Bitcoin is still the most attractive cryptocurrency and for other coins is hard to compete. So, it's not very good just to stick to the ststistics.
I agree with you. As if the other crypto currencies did not try to fill the market, bitcoin still ranks first. Because its power attracts many people and it will always be so.

Some of you think bitcoin and altcoins will increase, then global market cap will increase. What's the possible top of global market cap?

I'm not very optimistic with the predictions regarding altcoins, I think we'll have a correction soon, but I also think global market cap will be x2 or x3 in 2018.

i think bitcoin is dominance because bitcoin is the mother of cryptocurrencies because the bitcoin is the most popular and the first cryptocurrencies in the world so i think all people and all market will use bitcoin to exchange with other coin into bitcoin, and any exchanger use bitcoin to exchange it into usd or  other local currencies

Well, Bitcoin can't be the only one surging its price, some other altcoin needs to gain up somehow. It is really good that it happened for Bitcoin to become healthy.

Cryptocurrency is great technology and I know it will soar higher in coming years. The price movements of altcoins right now are pretty impressive and I think correction may not happen early in 2018. Bitcoin now are still pumping and dumping but I know we have a bright future with bitcoin. Smiley
