I think many Altcoin are traded with Bitcoin. So once the price of Bitcoin falls, it will bring the effects of that relationship. When I see the market, Bitcoin increases the price but Altcoin will go down. I think it starts just Altcoin that goes down and recovers to raise prices like Bitcoin.
For me, this is just a normal because it was decentralized which the market will only who can decide, I'm not saying that this is the time to let go cryptocurrencies but instead of that you must hodl all your coins and if there's a fluctuation then sell all your coins.

this is what i'm trying to point out. that the bitcoin is very important not only to the cryptocurrency industry but for us too. if the bitcoin gone i am sure it will not only a big affection but mass or in the worst case this industry would be gone . because all alternative coins are only depend in the price of bitcoin and if all coins are gone there's no reason to stay.Bitcoin will not be gone, and in fact this will be ghe the most and demand currency in the world right now when it comes to profitable investments. If that happens it will be abolish or will be removed from our financial systems, I guess many people will become disappointed with that. Many holders didn't dump their coins in order for the value to rise even double or even triple.

there is no way that bitcoin will fall in price and it will not affect other alt coins, bitcoin is the father of all alternate currencies and above all, it has more adoption more than the others, so it affects others.

This is why you see that any recovery or bull market always starts with the price of bitcoin going up. The whole of the market pretty much depends on the price of bitcoin for their own prices.

I think the prices of bitcoin and other altcoins have generally similar movements. But in the last few months, I can not see similarity between the price of bitcoin and an another altcoin, for example ethereum. In my opinion, the next movements can maybe show us some differences.

between those two things for sure the exact relationships difficult known or predictable. but obviously, if bitcoin ride gives an impact also on altcoin whether it goes up or down. so could even say the increase and decrease of altcoin this will depend on how the movement of the bitcoin.
