@payb.tc - At this point your site & rates look fine, however I've not seen any information about you, nor does the site lend itself to addressing the issue of trust development between itself & valued customers.  No offense intended, but do you have any web of trust data to backup your service?  If you've any history that you care to share with us, please do so.  Thanks much.

hi groundrod, i never got into the bitcoin-otc thing properly, so don't have a gpg identity there (that i can recall).

my history is basically just via this forum and private interactions stemming from people i've met on here.

@Stephen - Boy howdy glad your on track watching over things, was reading through this thread, pulled up the BTCrow.com site, was thinking all looked great & I might have found what looks like a good place to do business with....

...then bam, hit your posts & noted the exchange, as well as dates, now realize I'm done here and need to go to bed, thanks much for the steady hand on the rudder....  Smiley

@BTCrow - if your on here, would really appreciate hearing from you and address SG's questions to my satisfaction before I could ever consider using your service.

And its back up, but no recent forum login for the BTCrow account.

Sites run anonymously just don't have a great track record in the bitcoin world.

I do see that there is the #bitcoin-escrow IRC channel attended by individuals, most whom are willing to offer escrow (for a fee).  They're rated on #bitcoin-otc Web of Trust (WoT)

Yes I'm running BTCrow.com. I also posted that message on twitter.

I'm confused then.  So there was someone else managing it before, but then you took over management and now use the same forum account and Twitter account as the previous manager had?

With an escrow service, especially an escrow service operated anonymously, if something happens such as a change in ownership, hopefully that is communicated clearly and timely.  From my experience, "under new management" usually also means "change in ownership", so that's why I ask.

The site's Terms & Conditions shows:
"This Agreement is entered into in the country of Australia."
Is that still the case?

The http://BTCrow.com site does look great, by the way.

I run http://btcrow.com. What are you interested in doing, perhaps we could form some type of partnership?

After you posted that message the twitter account @BTCrow posted:
"Under new management. We've upgraded the site. Now much more user friendly. Flat fee of 1%."
http://twitter.com/#!/BTCrow/status/156868356446748672

Are you still running the service?

Anybody know of any? Have you used an escrow for bitcoins before? Have you used an escrow for dollars before?

Looking for review and suggestions. Any help appreciated!
