no one can say when crypto will be mainstream, but i hope by 2024 at the latest too. anyway this is just a hope. something tells me, it will certainly take longer than until 2024.
i think the most preveliged coin to be mainstream among Bitcoin, ETH, and XRP is ethereum thanks to the huge support from the community of developers good luck for all with their holding!
this is speculation, by looking at the current situation, we might be able to estimate the possibilities that could occur. in this case, bitcoin has even gone global. we only have to wait for ETH, and XRP is becoming popular like bitcoin. well, in the future, crypto will become a common thing. so, for the 3 coins discussed, I feel that it has become a common thing.
I think XRP and ETH have become coins that have big markets like Bitcoin. because almost in all exchanges we can now see them. the development of the crypto market is so fast, we must continue to pay attention and keep abreast of developments that occur in the market.

Although we don't have the crystal ball to see what the future brings to us, at least people are making a prediction here and see if it will became true in the future.
Right now we wanted crypto to become global, and one thing to do it is that people adopt it to become mainstream, so I would say probably in 5 years we may see that happening.

Bitcoin will be very difficult to change this world and the application in daily life is still a very difficult issue for this market. Maybe BTC, ETH, XRP can replace payment facilities but it will not be applied much in society so we do not be too confident in this. Personally, I will still choose Fiat because it determines the existence of the world and Crypto coins are just an investment to make a profit.I would think we would become mainstream by 2021 or 2022. I am sure that crypto will become a problem solver in the payment system, to be better than conventional systems like today.
Putting a specific date when mainstream adoption can happen for some cryptocurrency is just a big waste of time as there is no need to put a deadline or a time frame for this to happen. Everything about this matter especially its pace will all determined by the market. Now, we all know that because cryptocurrencies are decentralized there is nobody funding its marketing campaign and mostly we are all relying on word-of-mouth power and some occasional positive media coverage. It is good to think that soon the dream can be a big reality but then we have to be realistic.

I think I will be possible by that 2024, not that we don’t have high usage on this coin already but it is still quite very low and that is why people are clamoring more for awareness and maybe government regulation. What made bitcoin and ethereum gain more popularity in 2017 was because of its Bull RUN, people were able to know what they are all about and few people picked interest in using it for payment while some picked interest in using it for investment, but I think by that 2024, there will be more interest of people using it for payment to just investment.

BTC,ETH and XRP might become a little bit more popular after 4 years,but they will definitely never be in the mainstream.More people will know about the coins,but the amount of real active users won't increase with more than 25-35% due to the price volatility,regulatory chaos and the crypto hacks/scams.

today I see an ETH increase of up to 3% to 261 dollars, maybe soon it will break the price of 300 dollars. And this is something very encouraging for the holders who have waited long enough

Bitcoin is already on mainstream now and is getting to be known by most people that are into internet. It won't be that 100% adoption but it's increasing from year to year. Price will be the indicator that demand is increasing but we can determine that everyone isn't into the use of it as a cryptocurrency but more of investment and store of value.

Btc would be the king for that time and ETH could still be one of the best coins existing if seen it’s future demand and potential . It is also a time to keep some coins for the long term perspective as you would make a lot of money on this coins .

Where a big part of the people around me already know what crypto coins are i think before those times they are already users. What coin they will pick next to btc would what they prefer in the current top10 at that time.
I only have my hopes for Bitcoin and Ethereum. Xrp has a big potential but I don't think it could reach the achievements of Bitcoin and Ethereum to be on the mainstream. It still has a lot to achieve and to prove first. Bitcoin and Ethereum is continuously developing so it will surely be on the mainstream even before 2024.
It is possible because at the current year you could see that there are already plenty of merchants or business that is accepting it as a payment option.
