The future can be changed and future of bitcoin too. But there  are a lot other coins and some of them can become leaders of the marketplace
Yes but profit making And high demand of bitcoin is certain which can never be change bitcoin will remain the same in market and people will keep on using it as currency as well as an asset, now there are allot of market places where bitcoin is highly demanded and people are openly using bitcoin as currency to buy goods for our daily needs, so I think bitcoin has high scope in market as currency which can never be changed;.

I think bitcoin will become the world's currency in the future. Bitcoin is growing, many countries have adopted bitcoin and allow bitcoin to be used in daily transactions.

There is three features of bitcoin, one bitcoin as a digital currency and also bitcoin as a digital gold and also bitcoin as the internet when this three come to together you have bitcoin. So bitcoin being successfully use as an investment platform is still inline with the ideology of bitcoin,.

To be a currency would need a long process, do not think that bitcoin fails to be a currency because it takes time.
Bitcoin will be used as currency in our place for sure because bitcoin is getting more and more famous which is a sign for us that bitcoin is going to be our future currency, nothing happens within days of hours but it takes time to accomplish our aim of being rich or to see the huge change of currency from fiat to crypto which is almost don’t in many countries bitcoin is a currency, and fiat has converted to crypto currency.

Bitcoin was supposed to be used as a currency, not only a form of investment. However, it's been more successful as a form of investment, a "speculative asset".

Do you guys think that this can change in the long term ?

Probably it would in the future. Bitcoin wasn’t made in order to just replace representative money, it was made in order to extend what currencies can do, and take a big part in innovation. We all know that there’s a big future ahead in Bitcoin, so I don’t see that this would be impossible.

For me, bitcoin doesn’t fail as a currency because in the first place bitcoin is not a currency; bitcoin is a cryptocurrency and the first digital currency of all. Many people always compared bitcoin into the real money but it is not even bitcoin is created to fight against to banks costly fee and less freedom to your money and to some people that you want to transact at. Bitcoin is doing the best that he can, but some country already bans it because for some reason. But on the other hand bitcoin is still alive and the community of bitcoin is still growing even the value of it is decreasing. I can say that bitcoin failed as a currency if bitcoin become worthless despite of this controversial and issue happening. It is too early to tell that bitcoin already failed Smiley

Bitcoin has many benefits, bitcoin can be used as a currency and can also be used for investment because the value of bitcoin can rise higher. Bitcoin is not a failure as a currency, because bitcoin is the perfect currency with all its advantages.

I actually think that it is the opposite. I think bitcoin failed as a form of investment because of its unstable price or value. and I think bitcoin is still in the process of being an official currency of a country because I think because of scams bitcoin is still not gaininf users despite the profit that bitcoin gives.

Bitcoin does not become the official currency because it is not state-approved. Bitcoin has been hampered by the government's recent price cuts. Players are beginning to worry about this high-margin digital currency. If the bitcoin in the countries are falling in bulk are very worrying.

Bitcoin can still be used as a currency but not suitable for micropayments because these cause clogs and high fees and unfortunately, I think the majority of crypto transactions are all usually for micropayments.

Had bitcoin been used for transactions of large amounts am certain we wouldn't experience a clogged network and bitcoin be a would alternative to fiat.

A currency is a legal tender accepted as medium of exchange but bitcoin is fulfilling that purpose of be a medium of exchange to those that  knows its uses. In the future it can be use by a whole country. So is wrong bitcoin has failed as a currency.

we know, the significant difference between real currency and crypto money is centralization and decentralization. the real currency has an institutional center, regulated government and fixed value, unchanged. while bitcoin, the value is determined every person holding bitcoin. and there are no rules. so the bitcoin can fly the moon also can fall on the seabed. so for the long term, bitcoin remains a commodity and a price of speculation.

'A currency, in the most specific use of the word, refers to money in any form when in actual use or circulation as a medium of exchange, especially circulating banknotes and coins.' Quoted from Wikipedia.
Bitcoin does not fully fit into this definition so it is not entirely a currency in my estimation.

There are some countries that use bitcoin as a legitimate payment tool.Bitcoin can be said to be the only currency at this time. The number of stores that receive bitcoin as a means of payment is still small.Bitcoin is the digital currency used for means of payment and can be used as an investment asset.I think now the bitcoin will continue to grow and bitcoin will continue to be one of the potential coins.

I think bitcoin will be difficult to make currency because many countries ban bitcoin for transactional tools but currently bitcoin users make it as investment asset, but fore we can not predict whether bitcoin will be the currency in every country.

I agree with your opinion bitcoin fails to be a currency, because not everyone knows bitcoin and bitcoin have no physical form is not the same as fiat money, I think bitcoin suitable to be used as an investment tool not as currency.

I agree that Bitcoin has been viewed more as an investment vehicle than a coin used for daily transactions and it has indeed failed in that department..
