Bitcoin fleas are never stable they are always in up and down motion. In the start of Dec 2019 speculations were bitcoin may go down to 3k$ again. While in start of Jan 2020, speculations were its may go upto 9k$ but since last 2 days market going down again. You will never see bitcoin fleas stable.

Bitcoin fees are back down! I am hoping that they stay down because these last few weeks have been painful.
Yeah, I'm happy to see that bitcoin miner fees are down now, it's all about how the market is saturated with bitcoin's transactions, I mean the less unconfirmed transactions, the less miner fees. I hope that bitcoin's fees will stay at this low with a continuous increase of bitcoin's price over the time.

I was attracted by the title of OP but when I read the content, I see that it was a typo. Anyway.. it is really good to see Bitcoin fees going down.  I hope it goes down to the value that can compete with other altcoins fees.  If we look at it, Bitcoin fee is still more expensive than other major altcoin.  If this is fixed plus the confirmation time, I bet Bitcoin adoption will be accelerated.

It is unlikely to be a typo because the OP is actually included a photo, probably his cat, to the post, and the cat is scratching its head indicating of an actual fleas which hurt his pet. This is somehow symbolic but upon thinking about the topic, it is like the concept of parasitism in which on our market, the parasites are the resistance that holds the market price to be low, without these resistances, bitcoin could achieve an ATH way higher than before. That might be the reason why the fleas are now going down, but deep inside for me, it is the tension from the Iran and US that triggers the huge market price.

With GeoPolitical tensions going down, Bitcoins are also going down.

Don't include images in quotes! You'll annoy Jet Cash.

Quite apart from the fact that we already know this cat has fleas, and so by duplicating the cat you are effectively copy/pasting the fleas as well, and just making the problem worse.

Hopefully it will goes down continuously. The fees are highly burden with bitcoin supporters. Many of us know how much we lose if we withdraw or send bitcoin to our wallets and in others. It is a good news for us since we don't need to convert anymore to other cryptocurrency just to cut our loss in fees made by miners or exchanges.

If you spot fleas on your bitcoin, then you need to treat it quickly, because they can give your bitcoin tapeworms and other afflictions. Whilst you are treating for fleas, it is probably sensible to worm your bitcoin as well. If some satoshis drop out of the back-end then don't worry, this is normal and a sign that the worming treatment is working.

It is also important to remember that fleas can survive without a host bitcoin for a considerable length of time. With this in mind, it would be prudent to clean your bitcoin's bedding regularly.

Honestly physical bitcoins are an absolute nightmare to look after. This is why most of us prefer to keep them virtual.

I feel we ought to move this thread to 'serious discussion'.

Some people here are just too dump Shocked. Okay, the OP said fleas, of course we know that was a typo error and wasn't what he meant to write and he already explained that in the body of his post – he's trying to say that the fees for doing Bitcoin transaction have reduced and some people are here commenting wrongly. Seriously, some comments here must be annoying.

To the OP: the fees are down but I don't think they will be down for long, especially now that we all are expecting the price to go up. As the price goes up the fees will go with it, just like it happened back in 2017 during the last bull run because when bulls are back to action, more people will start transacting which will lead to possible network congestion.

As of now, tx fees are good and more people must adopt segwit to keep fees at possible low even in bull times.

Did you mean about the people that making bitcoin down or about the prices variation? Definitely, the price is really volatile. You cannot predict the ups and downs. Its quite not good to sell at this time due to price downfall. Nevertheless, its good to buy to take advantage of the low price. I think will just go with the flow.

Bitcoin price is not rising. Why doesn't it rise? Because investors were scared. New stories require new investors to enter the market. Bitcoin needs a new exciting development. The year 2020 could be better for bitcoin.
The current bitcoin movement in my opinion is normal and happens down or up which in my opinion is not too far away that makes investors feel hesitant to act.
and the current correction will continue in the next few weeks and now bitcoin is increasing slightly from the previous price decline and the current price is around $ 7100 and in my opinion this will continue to increase slowly and gradually which will make bitcoin better in 2020.
Very little to be mined. Once the entire supply is mined there will be big demand for bitcoin which will boost the price much higher. This is just the real life calculation. We don't know how things will happen in reality as the cryptocurrency market is something different from the stocks and other investments. As the market is supportive for buying, it is good to buy and accumulate for long term profiting than just missing the opportunity.

Last time I did a transaction from one address to another was 10k satoshis.
That doesn't hurt much anymore unlike before which could go to a whooping 100k satoshis.

I guess it is because of the price of BTC which is getting lower and that is why the fees are also being dragged by it.
I think so.  Grin
