Strange comparison and actually I don't see the connection.
However, don't be too happy too soon, price corrections and fluctuations will continue and it can happen that Bitcoin will not be back over 8000$ soon. Current price range is likely to stay for a while.
About two months ago I thought Bitcoin price could reach 10000$ by the end of the year but at the moment I don't think there is chance this will happen.
I was thinking the same 2 months ago to be honest, but it seems that bitcoin will not even increase to 8k$ by the end of this year. I'm thinking that bitcoin will stay in this range of price for more few weeks to get the correction of prices and then it will go up and increase a lot by the next halving which it will take place in the half of 2020.

Whenever we see a dump on bitcoin price it is very painful most especially if the amount went down way lower than the price you bought it. It is very likely that he bought bitcoin perhaps $8000 or more so when the price went down to $7000 then it became painful. On the other note, I still don’t understand why he compared it with  fleas, I just think it is weird. Anyways, we are still at the $7100 mark and I just hope the tide will turn and it will reach atleast $10k.

I bought bitcoin at a price of $ 7500 and now it drops to $ 7100 even though it hurts because the price of bitcoin is slowly going down so I will not bother to better wait for the bullrun to come and it will definitely be there and after that see the movement of bitcoin to a high level.
If you only regret then it's not good, we better wait for the right time because we hold Bitcoin instead of altcoin which often becomes shitcoin.
I still see it as bullish with that $7k price because the miner fees aren't too high with that level of price but it makes me worried when the time that bitcoin goes bullish. I'm pretty sure there will be an increase of the miners fee as well since there will be a lot of activities going on when the market is in bull run.

How the hell did you get fleas and fees mixed? I can understand saying fea and not fee or vice versa but there is an "l" there my dear man. Is this so difficult to check before hitting post? Can you not edit it now? I guess not...

Bitcoin fees have been usually for the past few months and I have been paying between $0.32-$0.50 which I think is fair and the transactions were very quick. What are you unhappy about? How much would you like to pay? How fast would you like it to be and how fast has it been for you lately that you feel the need to complain? I don't think transaction fees are a big thing to worry about. The bank charges the same amount but the bank has monthly costs too. My bank is $12 a month and then $0.20 $0.50 for each transaction. This is $12 more than bitcoin. I get nothing for my $12.

Do people seriously not understand humor?

Bitcoin transaction costs have been extremely high (in terms of the crypto market) but have recently started coming down.

Here's the thing about crypto. We have a certain expectation for the market and economy. So I don't care if a regular transaction is 100x the cost of a cryptocurrency transaction. I have been in the community for a long long time, and know what to expect.

Sometimes it is just because of a higher or lesser volume of requested transactions that could potential change the fees costs.

Imagine an exchanger seeing there is a high volume of transactions being requested on their hand. They will be lowering the fees. And so does the vice versa application.

That might happen when there is alot of fuzz from the community that implies on buying / selling all of sudden and market starts getting fluctuations so high that a fee change should be applied for that particular moment.

Bitcoin for a few weeks is still around $ 7,000 and above, what makes you painful, man? I don't understand what you are saying let alone talk about "Bitcoin fleas"
What do you mean keep quiet, it's not necessary to buy bitcoin like that?
Maybe because he bough btc around 8000$ so they think its painful to him. But it is really normal in bitcoin price , its always happening its not new if you are long investors you already experience things many times before.

We don't have to connect what he means, but the fact is bitcoin price now is down and still not increase. But we have a hope to see the price will increase in the next day. No matter what OP means, we cannot know what he wants to say, and we don't have to think many things because that can make misperception to many people Grin

We need to prepare another down of the price because bitcoin price now seems to want to go down again.

LOL, all you people trying to guess what OP means by the word fleas. Let me guess one as well.
I think OP just misspelled the word fees for fleas. He might be saying that bitcoin fees are going down !

P.S: Saw the above post from OP later. So I kinda won in guessing the context. Lol  Grin

I don't think it's a misspelled thing because he included a picture of a cat scratching. Meaning op intended to use the word flea. Flea is an insect commonly found in animals like cats.
Though I still cannot connect the word flea with bitcoin... Everyone's guessing since op didn't made it clear.
It's normal for bitcoin's price to drop and eventually it will also go up in the right time. So let's just wait for it to happen and be positive with the current situation.
I think what he wanted to say was really flea, wherein "flea" means a flightless insect and if you connect it to bitcoin, it means unable to fly to the moon. Well, this is only my guess. Since bitcoin continues to decline that is why he called it bitcoin fleas.

there is no transaction spam so transaction costs go down it is reasonable and not many people make transactions on bitcoin it's much better, given the high price of bitcoin should make transactions for things that are very necessary, so as not to accumulate transactions in the network with a large fee to get confirmation transactions, bitcoin tick is an easier word to say than FUD

actually i don't understand op statement. so I just wondered maybe the ticks that op meant were the popes. in recent days bitcoin has continued to decline and this decline may have been manipulated by the pope. whales = fleas
so the op hopes that these whales are silent not manipulating the bitcoin market. so that the price of bitcoin can be stable and then increase.

Well are you sure that it's not their mating period and they haven't laid a lot of eggs till now ?

Now they are just waiting for the eggs to hatch , it's like the silence before the storm .

Never be sure of anything , it's bitcoins.
They strike us when we are thinking *yeah it's so calm now* and it goes down in an instant .

Don't know about everyone else but I've still been paying 1 sat/byte the past few weeks. Sure, it takes hours, even 8-16 hours for when the network was at 15k and climbing but eventually it goes back down and I get my tx confirmed.

There was one particular tx I needed to confirm quickly this week, was the only time I actually RBF'd in the whole past 3 months. Fact, this whole year now, all but a few of my txs have been 1 sat/byte. And when I HAVE paid more, I just bump to about 11/byte, so never even 10 cents.

That's how the crypto market is always dynamic, sometimes rising and sometimes falling, as Bitcoin drops, the market becomes bloody and so the market goes green. The right moment is to enter the market in a red state, logically like it. But bitcoin after this is ensured there will be a wave of ascension, the decline now is a correction when he was struck by the wind because it was too high so he crashed, later he will be back up again.

I think this person meant that Bitcoin's behavior is similar to flea's jumps. These rapid changes and price hikes are exactly like flea's jumps. A little incorrect comparison, but everyone has his own imagination, so this person came up with the idea to compare the behavior of digital gold with flea's jumps.

Yes mate the Bitcoin transaction fee comes down as $0.5 to $0.20 depending on the priorities it compares to last few months ago maybe it will come down due to bitcoin price drop significantly. But I do not agree with bitcoin fleas because of it will happen relying crypto market.

If fleas were refer to dump, negative news or being controlled by whales then it's not really going down as they may come anytime since the market is tend to be that way. The market is volatile and will have it's way to up and down due to economic changes that happening not just in crypto but in economy of a specific country adapting crypto. Hopefully before halving btc will not encounter any flows  before that.

I don't know why you think a fees to be fleas.

I made a transaction and I checked the cost was indeed cheaper. It costs around 0.15-0.25 dollars, the amount is twice cheaper than last month.

Yeah I also notice that in three of my transactions, the fee is now lower, but in the case of Yobit withdrawal, they still implement the 0.00120000 so I have to trade it in other altcoin that has a much lower fee, like Ethereum or Litecoin, but I prefer Litecoin because it only cost 25 cents compare to Ethereum which is 95 cents, others are saying XRP is also a good choice.

The exchange determines the withdrawal fee at a fixed price. That's why the exchange actually does not adjust transaction fees with the blockchain network.
