It sounds as if you're oversimplifying.

"Free to use bitcoin for any purpose." That could be an oversimplification. Some would object to bitcoin being used for money laundering, terrorism or crime. The idea and spirit behind bitcoin isn't to create a currency that can be used for literally anything whether it be moral or immoral.

It doesn't make any difference. Bitcoin can be used for anything including illegal. It is designed as decentralized. It just so happen that people have taken advantage of the "flawed" of bitcoin for illegal activities. But you can't blame bitcoin for that. Anything can be used for illegal activities not only bitcoin.

Indeed it is true, anyone can use Bitcoin no age limit, any race , any gender , rich or poor as long as the user have an internet access and a gadget to start with. Anyone who use Bitcoin is anonymous. The only difference is rich people can easily start with a Bitcoin unlike the poor with the current price of Bitcoin now it is hard to get 1 Whole Bitcoin.
that's the saddest truth poor people will take some time to get 1 whole bitcoin and invest it thinking to grow bitcoin while rich people are taking advantage with the easiest way to transfer money anonymously, they are enjoying the service and this system serves well for rich people who can afford to buy bitcoin directly.

Not totaly true because you need a computer and an internet connexion.

So it's common in developped countrie but not in all ^^
What you say is from the usage level, but in terms of affordability bitcoin is not common for the every level of people. In reality only people with high fiat backing profit much than the common users who strive hard to make a small earning from the Bitcoin. So most of the time it serves as the money of the rich.

Nope, he is not. According to Satoshi Nakamoto, he created bitcoin to eliminate the trust of the banks' ecosystems. If bitcoin is being used for literally anything, then it became successfully an adopted and acceptable currency. Those who would object to bitcoin being used for illicit activities should do the same with Fiat – it is used for anything including — but not limited to — those you have mentioned.

The problem with btc is there is still trust though. You dont solve the trust problem by using btc if you dont want to trust things.

In btc you have to trust the miners wont screw you over. They are acrewing people.over right now!!..

Thay being said it is a better system with less corruption. But we need changes(which also requires trust of devs).

We still have trust issuses, but we can out pressure on devs and miners. Cant put pressure on banks.

Bitcoin is decentralized so that whoever you are from wherever you are rich or poor, you are free to use bitcoin for any purpose. Bitcoin is freely used for anyone. anywhere

What is your response with this opinion?

It sounds good in principle, but you need to specify more.

Decentralized onchain transactions are NOT cheap. Everyone cannot do onchain transactions if you want to keep the network decentralized aka affordable nodes. If you centralize nodes the network is no longer decentralized.

The only way to get african poor people on board with the bitcoin train is through lightning network.

And the only way to keep bitcoin as gold is to not centralize the nodes by raising the blocksize to an stupid level.

Poor developing countries don't have ATMs to withdraw bitcoins, some markets don't even have POS, and even if you manage to buy smth with bitcoin the delivery doesn't work in some places (the same is with delivery of bitcoin cards). and of course you somehow have to earn it in the first place. The usage of bitcoin is limited for some people after all.

What is your response with this opinion?

Sounds like words from a socialist and sounds like people can get bitcoin for free, which isn`t true.
Rich people have more bitcoins because they have more fiat money and they can buy more bitcoins.
I don`t like the term "for any purpose".What about illegal purposes?

Yep. Bitcoin is not free because it requires time and effort if not money. There is no such thing as free money in Bitcoin as to what others have been thinking especially new ones which one of the reasons that attract them into this Bitcoin world. Also let's not say as "for any purpose" because its like saying Bitcoin is used in both legal and illegal ways but it is true it can though it doesn't mean that we supported and fueling this.

What is your response with this opinion?

Yes bitcoin ca be used by both rich and poor since it is for anyone. But being poor has its disadvantages and they are the people who will use bitcoin the hardest way. Poor people does not have the resources to access bitcoin such as computers, internet and many more. And even if they can access they have no money to purchase bitcoins. Thus the perfect term for bitcoin would be that bitcoin is for people who can meet the conditions.

What is your response with this opinion?
Good opinion but many people from Underdeveloped countries and third world countries do not have the technology know how on how to make bitcoin or even how to use it. So for bitcoin to be use by every body is a game of long time and a lot of education and promote has to be do.
