Not that complicated if someone is managing the investment for them. I have seen 80 year old pensioners investing in mutual funds and equities, without even knowing the meaning of a stock exchange. The portfolio managers do everything for them, starting from the selection of the mutual fund to the date of profit booking.

Yeah i do think so, those people who already retire on their work can still be a full time trader and earn a lot of profit withing just a month. Now a days those people who does not have work can still join on bounty campaigns to earn money for sustaining their daily needs.

I think it's hard to get parents to know about bitcoin, because most parents find it hard to understand the crypto world, even they do not understand about the internet.
Especially if the money invested has a large amount, this will make parents afraid to lose their money, unless they have seen successful people by investing in bitcoin, maybe our parents will believe and ready to invest in bitcoin.

they can be used it as their hobby. Start explaining them what bitcoin is in a simplest way then start discussing how to do bitcoin .Guide them everytime they want to ask something since this people are not so techky. Benefits of it is they can used it as past time as well as earning money.

In my opinion it's difficult to make "everyday" old people use bitcoin: the tech is difficult to understand, not enough merchant, not enough urgency

If anyone can make good apps that creates urgency for them to use, then there is hope

Bonus: what make elders use smartphone? It's photograph and social media!

Bitcoins are already simple enough to understand specially if you'll be treating bitcoins as a forn of money instead of an asset. The elderly will definitely get this easily and they'll get to invest in bitcoins with their pension or something.

I think it's a bit complicated for them to learn. They should be resting than working to earn bitcoin. They should be spending rather than earning money. It's their compensation for working hard all of their lives. I'd rather have myself working and earning bitcoin for them to use.

Basically Bitocin is for everyone, regardless the age. But in fact old people are generally less interested about Bitcoin and crypto currencies than young people. The old generations trust more fiat money and they used it for so many years, it is a bit hard to convince them start using digital currencies, like BTC.

I think it is not advisable that old people will join or have a transactions in bitcoin because for me they have not enough knowledge about in bitcoin and also in the online matters .We all know that the focus of bitcoin users nowadays is the millenials even though the other old people is capable to do these things,it depends on them the decision if they will enter the bitcoin world.

Exactly, I don't think they would be able to do all these stuff, as they would find it very hard. They might have alot of money from their life savings which they could easily multiply by investing into cryptocurrencies, but they won't be able to understand about cryptos as most of the aged people would find it very difficult to understand. One thing that I think can be done would be, if someone else from their family invests their money and does all the things needed.

I think we should just forget about the old folks and concentrate on the newer generation or those that were born after the creation of bitcoin because they will have the opportunity to learn right from the beginning just like those of us who were born after the invention of computer and the internet and how we have been able to integrate that into our life unlike the older generation who were before computer.

Bitcoin, although digital in nature and originated from 20th century technological development, is user-friendly and is suitable for use of different ages as long as they are able to use a computer and is capable of operating a computer. It means that even old people I say could invest in bitcoin as long as they are educated about how to operate a computer and how to use the internet effectively.
