Every bitcoin transactions are irreversible, so I doubt that you can chase those scammers as they might not be using their real identify and hiding on those bitcoin addresses.
Of course, you can go to authorities to report it, but if you're thinking to get back your investments, I really don't see it. Next time, just be careful and just just trust anyone because crypto sphere is full of scammers and criminals taking advantage of investors, specially beginners like the OP.
totally agree that what you say is the truth that it will be very difficult to hunt down scammers because the evidence may also not be strong and not to mention bitcoin recovery is very difficult to realize.
I can't help answering if the OP actions to report to the authorities, because I myself do not know the state of the country with every happening with crypto problems. in my country, I clearly cannot report because crypto is not recognized as a legal transaction and is recognized by the state.
it should be to be more careful in carrying out all activities related to crypto, because of a slight error it can be sure that it will not be possible to recover.
