I think there's a potential bright future. I don't think it's going to be replacing other money anywhere near our lifetimes. Governments could do plenty to strangle it if they chose to. I agree that bitcoin will have a bigger and brighter future because of the Implementation of Segwit. Bitcoin updates is now easier than before. This means Bitcoin have now easier access to upgrades. Aside from that, creating smart contracts with bitcoin is made easier by the implementation of Segwit too. This means more people will be able to use Bitcoin and more application will be build around the bitcoin blockchain.

Bitcoin has been invented already meaning the only thing we'll see is moving forward and increase in price, there is no other crypto coin that can ever compete with it in volume, marketcap and any aspect for that matter.

Best thing you can do is to hold at least 20 bitcoins because 15 years from now it worth 1000X more than today.

There is nothing to prove that Bitcoin won't be effective and used in the future, and while the inverse is also true, there is a higher chance that we're going to see everything benefit a lot more from time passing when it comes to Bitcoin. Unless something proves this otherwise, there is a good outlook for the future and I would expect for us to be seeing good things.

I also believed that bitcoin has a chance to replace the fiat and make it as a traditional money.
The bitcoin tech is really great and useful so many people loves using it. It's also have a fast transaction with a low fees.

No one really knows bitcoin's future, all we can do is speculate about it. In my opinion Bitcoin will rise in price in the future. It will continue to be king of cryptocurrency and will attract more demands as year pass by. By 2020, the base price IMO is 1200$ double of the price we have know. The chance of it happening is slim since there are many obstacles that might come against bitcoin.

I agree with this. I dont want that very high pump in just a day. But if you are the monitoring guy of bitcoin then it will be profitable for you. I am not much looking to its price and just letting it be. So, this increase is just good for me because I am online. Then what if you are not then suddenly this things happen? I would still go with the slow and steady rise like you said.

Yeah and in the past we have witnessed that price reached to $1300 and fell down badly so we don't want that history should be repeated once again as if price touches $1k in quick time then I am sure majority of users will dump their coins which will result in price crash and that is not good for bitcoin economy.

Things get repeated with bitcoin. Its the true nature of bitcoin. Bitcoin price increase and decrease is unpredictable and unexpected. We can't completely say that price crash happens when common users dump. Possibly the crash happens when big whales dump their coins without moving it for circulation.

I am also hoping the same situation here. Our ability to earn is going to increase and I just hope that in the new year to come the price won't go down to $800 so that we can capitalize our earnings. What was doubting on my mind right now is the other altcoin trying to go down rapidly I think most of them.

and if you are looking for making profit on bitcoin's price rise then maybe it is time to think about really investing in bitcoin by buying some bitcoin with your money instead of waiting around and hoping price stays low so you can earn more while it is cheap!
