I wish there was a chess pvp with bitcoins, i know the problem is that you can use bots but isnt there any solution to that? To block any possible bot usage like videogames have anticheating systems, this could use the same idea

The biggest chess site chess.com I think has some features/bots which watches over players moves and if it detects that they're using some kind of software it reports it to the mods but it's not perfect and even chess.com isn't able to stop people from cheating on online chess.

I myself used https://www.gambit.com/ while ago and now i stopped due they're asking for too much info.
But yeah gambit was fun Tongue

Im not sure gambit actually allows bitcoin gambling does it? seems to just allow you to build chips and then give out prizes?

Anyway OP yes we need a p2p game system for many online skill based games i've been trying to suggest such a system here:

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.11014085   < please make suggestions in this thread

I think we should make a system where any players can gamble for any game vs hosting the games ourselves.

Also this dev here has built bomberman p2p for gambling, its just a test now, not fully functional:

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/battlecoinorg-multiplayer-bomberman-clone-1010288

They did like month ago but they removed it and added some stupid prize thingy.
I don't like this website anymore thus i left this (well due they asked for personal info to get verified and also due we can't play with real bitcoins anymore)
So i have to find new website .-. But i don't think there is other websites with yatzy and so :c

Thats so lame the site actually plays pretty good but with out the ability to gamble bitcoin you might as well play on facebook.   The door is wide open for p2p skill games right now.

Yup gambit was exactly what this person is looking for.  They could've been a leading site in a niche community that has a lot of potential to grow.  Instead they wanted to try to expand to the mainstream when that space is quite crowded already.

They will die without offering something different, their games are ok but there is far better out there already.  Someone will step up lets wait and see.

Yeah there games were nothing amazing.  There site is reminiscent of something old.  It would've possibly been a great site 5-10 years ago.

But those ok games were amazing in the bitcoin world because no one else was offering this service.

There is http://battlecoin.org, it's in beta, it's a multiplayer bomberman game for BTC.

That site is well-made and I am interested in playing a game for bitcoin, but unfortunately there is no player there now. Sad

Yap you're right that this bomberman clone is well-made, but unfortunately they dont have enough promotions.
And I think that's why its hard to find other players to play against you.

But thats because the game is in beta mode, there was free to play not long ago but now you can deposit and play with real money (bitcoins) If you read his thread he said he is working on the game still and making new changes after that he will probably make some promotions.

I was going to mention battlecoin.

There's also bustabit , this is a gambling site with up to 1% house edge and there's also a player vs player.  You're competing for bonuses.  It's possible for this game to be +EV.

Dear all,

Do you happen to know any provably fair games online, where you can wager bitcoins - vs other players.

thanks.

For the place i don't know, maybe u can check on the gambling section. But for the games you can play casino or live casino like blackjack and poker. You need to find that it's real people not bot because so many casino site that using bot.

Bot is not always a problem in some games if you can actually make +ev betting decisions.  With poker and NLHE bots aren't yet good enough to beat good players in general.

You're right, it's easier to beat a bot and they aren't a real problem, the problem with BTC Poker in my view is there aren't many players who are interested in game really but are more interested in free-rolls. Including me  Wink

Yes it's true. It seems to me that, because there is not yet poker website with enough trust. People are afraid of bots. They are testing websites on freerolls

You maybe right but there are some trusted ones too and there also I only see very few people (1-2) on ring games and after a while when you're playing Heads-UP Poker, it gets intense. I don't know about swcpoker because I haven't played there because they don't have a browser based version yet but other places, it's all the same.
