The problem with player vs player betting is that two could just cheat for a huge profit. That is on reason to NOT allow the pot to be more then what both bet.
I actually like all pvp games until and unless they are fair and mainly i would like to see games like chess, etc !
I think it was discussed before. Simple strategy games like chess would attract cheaters that would quickly find a way to make a software like chessmaster calculate moves for them. You'd need to have some sort of anti cheat software and constantly update it so it doesn't get cracked. For example CSGO has active software but they still need people to watch the replays and ban people manually because the software just can't cut it by itself.
better than that will be , there will be time based chess, you think much in cheating, you loose !
