poloniex will steal our btg ?...

They are one of most trusted platform by the forum members why they need to steal your BTG. Actually they did not support the bitcoin gold for the bitcoin spllitted so for that reason you cannot say that bitcoin gold steal by them. If you are really concern to receive the bitcoin gold reward means go to save your bitcoins in bitrex or wallet coinbase. Both these sites gives the option for BTG reward.

Even both the Poloniex and Bittrex didn't announce anything about Bitcoin Gold whether they are supporting or not. But I hear the news from Yobit they are supporting Bitcoin Gold.
https://support.bittrex.com/hc/en-us/articles/115002320451-Statement-on-Bitcoin-Gold-BTG-
If you have a Bitcoin (BTC) balance on Bittrex during the BTG snapshot block 491,407 occurring approximately on October 23, 11pm PT (6am UTC), you will be additionally credited the equivalent amount of Bitcoin Gold (BTG) on a 1:1 basis. i.e. 1 BTC on Bittrex held during the on-exchange snapshot will get you 1 BTG.

BTC that was used as collateral on the margin account at the time of the BCH fork also received the equivalent amount of BCH.  Check your Deposit balance and it should also be listing your total BTC, which includes the BTC you're using as collateral!

Basically last time everybody borrowed BTC on polo to get BCH. Right now their BTC lending rate isn't 5% (like last time) so most likely they will not honour it.
you are misunderstanding me as well. i am NOT talking about lending btc. i have btc as collateral on my margin account.

i want to know it makes a difference if i have the btc on margin lending or exchange account Wink

does anyone know if it still counts if i have my bitcoins on my margin account as collateral on poloniex?

if i have x btc on margin do i get x btg as well (assuming they list it)?

i mean i am in posession of the bitcoins. they are just not on my exchange account but on the margin account instead.

No. You only temporarily possess but not own them, so the BTG should and will instead go the money's real owner who lend that BTC to you in the first place.
you misunderstood me

i am not talking about lended btc. im talking about my own margin account balance that i need to have to even begin margin trading.

so i transferred bitcoins from my exchange account to my margin account. those bitcoins now serve as collateral in case of a loss.

my question is if i need to put them back on my exchang account.

Will Poloniex support Bitcoin Gold ?

I will receive the same amount of BTC if I leave my BTC on Poloniex ?
No, last time many people lost their BCC on Poloniex and if you leave it in Poloniex  you 'll lost all your BCG

wrong. poloniex gave people their bcc after a few weeks.

did anyone has been locked btc wallet in bittrex?
Bittrex stated that they will support bitcoin gold because they have unreliable code. They are unsure of the safety of these coins and wait until the situation becomes clearer. It seems to me that this is an attempt to buy time in order to study the demand and not to make mistakes. Maybe it's one of the reasons for the reduction in the price of bitcoin today. Investors do not believe in bitcoin gold.

Jaxx wallet will support BTCgold?
Check BTG web-site https://btcgpu.org/
"What wallet should I keep my BTC in to make sure I will receive BTG?
Any secure Bitcoin wallet that gives the user exclusive control of the cryptographic private keys is a suitable location to store your coins prior to the October 25 fork. Some wallets may offer you direct access to your BTG, while others may require you to take additional technical steps. Verified wallets that support BTC and BTG side-by-side will be listed on the Bitcoin Gold home page. We will publish guides for retrieving BTG from the most popular wallets, including Bitcoin Core, Electrum, Mycelium, hardware wallets, paper wallets, and more."

I have not heard anything about Poloniex yet, what happened with the last for was that they said they would not support it, then the fork happened and they changed their mind. They then gave out coins to everyone who held btc at the time of the fork. The problem with this was that the price had dipped dramatically compared to when it was listed on bittrex for example.

Poloniex did honor BCH. If you had btc in polo you got the exact same bch few days after the fork.
