I was wondering what would be the exact date for the halving... Anyone here knows?
I guess the price should skyrocket just before the halving, that's why I need an exact date

I might sell some when the halving party causing the price to triple. If the price just doubled, I will not sell.
I will also sell some if halving party just under $1000 and I'll sell all my bitcoin if prices after halving above $1000

If reading this retrospectively, what did you do the day of bitcoins halving?

it is not an exact date but an exact block height, 420,000 to be precise.

Because finding new blocks is a probability-based event, the EXACT date and time cannot be predicted. But, since there are so many blocks to be found between now and halving, and the fact that the system is designed for an average of 10 minutes per block (136 blocks per day), a pretty reliable date would be in July (22 July) of this year.

I think the price will improve according to the common sense of decreased demand increasing price, it won't be instant or necessarily after the halving since it will be factored from this time, The halving might be a reason of the current rise in bitcoin price.
Where is this party going to be again? Or is it an online thing?

Well, the prediction for halving is not accurate and it might miss by a few days or weeksBut don't worry, if you wanna join the party then just buy a bunch of Bitcoin and you can get a nice profit when the time comes

When is this halving actually estimated to happen?
It is estimated to happen in the middle of July. But the hashing rate is rising fast, so it could be early July.
I hope to partake in one. I'm new to this bitcoin world 
seriously why does everyone think the day the block reward halves the price of bitcoin will be worth twice as much..
i mean, the 15 million bitcoins that are currently out there wont be worth ANY more just because the reward halves..
miners personally have ZERO to do with raising the price of bitcoin.. if anything the huge mining corporations that dump them on the market daily because they need to recover costs make the price go down. not up..
