My excitement with this was dealt a huge blow with this recent price drop. We were in a good place before Mike Hearn decided to crash the party. Now all those dumped coins needs to be absorbed and the price brought to it's previous levels, before we will see a big impact during the Halving.
The upside to this is all the cheaper coins that are on offer before the Halving. A lot of people can now buy cheaper coins, which they would not have had the opportunity to do, if this did not happen. So it has a positive and a negative side to the story.
I think this is just temporary, the price will rise again for sure. Plus the block size debate will more a bit quicker now. We are already below 400 again.Maybe start to buy a bit now and continue buying more if price continues declining.

I will celebrate it by buying as much bitcoins I can before price rises 
This could be the reason of price going up, when more and more people would think that way, not the lower reward from mining itself lol.

I agree but hopeful Mr Hearns comments will also have jolted everyone into resolving this block size issue. I'll also try to pick up a cheap coin.
In deeded. If the block size is not resolved by Bitcoin core quickly, there will be two bitcoins in the future and one will die.
There will be no 2 BTC, people stop spreading the FUD. Miners are already into BTC classic and without miners, there s no BTC. So this issue s already resolves, only some people re still not aware of it.

I usually don't celebrate on occasions, not even my own Birthday. But I'll be excited to see the impact it'll have on the price a month before the halving and months after it. Hoping that 2016 is truly a good year for Bitcoin.
I am also very much exited to see the celebrations and consequences of halving. I guess it would be the replica of 2013 celebrations and excitements.

my overall plan is definitely not going to change and i will continue the course of my bitcoin accumulation but at the time of halving i would surely keep and extra eye on bitcoin price movements and see how the market is going to react.

My plan just try to continue to collect bitcoin before halving and quite curious how the highest price after halving occurred
I try to accumulate as much Bitcoins as I can before the block halvening event
Based on alts like Litecoin, speculation for it happens in advance, usually earlier than you think. I would guess a couple months early. When it actually happens everything will be priced in and just another day. (might suck for my mining of BTC, but I guess it will be worth more..)
