The needs of a person in real life are true, and bitcoin is one of the medium to meet some things we need, So i might say bitcoin has a role in a real world.
bitcoin has a growing role. it will never vanish again, its a revolution. people are in charge, not one market controller:
todays roles are:
+investment
+clearing vehicle (for exchanging currencies / goods)
+democratized / crowd network
+modern mining
+technology alife. its not a whitepaper that has no proof of work. its out since 2009. millions using it.
maybe someday the daily payments will be added to this list, but it needs to
+stablize price
+be transferrable with low fees
+vendors/markets need seemless integration
+more legal status in countries
a lot of foundation will be done in lightning network. the rest is to us. ASK all your vendors to integrate the payment with bitcoin/litecoin/ether.
DONT wait. ask.

No. Bitcoin have role in real world it using as digital gold and as currency when people transferring money from one county to another country without goverment the main problem for bitcoin is high ridicolous fee
It is not true because bitcoin has a big role in our world. For example, it can help in our financial needs and can help us to earn money. But not everyone are using bitcoin so they can't really know how important it is. If you don't believe that bitcoin has its own role in our real world, that your choice.
How come? Bitcoin help me to send money accross the globe. The disadvantage of bitcoin is the transaction fee and people believe the price of bitcoin will skyrocket because governments wants to adopt bitcoin has digital currency so in the long run cryptocurrency will be use as digital payment.
BTC has no role to play in the real world affairs. People who try to create such a role are confused between asset and currency. The design itself only considers pure virtual activity with no touch with real world. People also mistake the buzz words such as "peer-to-peer", "border-less", "decentralised" etc as the problems to be solved. But sadly these are not real problems. The insignificant problems (speed and fees) are hardly enough to sell and these problems are going away anyway. I have no respect to Nakamoto because he ignored the most important element (govt and authorities) in social situation and still want to sell it as some solution to social situations. Hardly any country has regulatory framework that deals with btc.
The problems are rooted in the philosophy of crypto, not in the code. So, the beauty of blockchain tech is irrelevant for btc. It is like selling a bad app by showing how great Android is.
1) Bitcoin does not provide controlled visibility, because it doesn't recognise the existence of governments. Now if you make changes to provide visibility to authorities, ALL privacy is gone. If you don't, then ALL visibility is gone.
2) Fees are rooted in the design. Whatever consensus you invent for a public blockchain, you can't escape rewarding the work of validating transactions. So zero fees are not possible.
Public blockchains sacrifice all good qualities of a business application for the sake of trust-less environment which is not even actually a problem to solve in many contexts. Also they make it extremely costly to run small amount of code or small storage. Who wants their business code to be validated by all arbitrary people in the world?
Most ICOs are sharing economy concepts similar to uber model. Lack of a responsible intermediary and costs will make these "innovations" to fail, if they ever have to touch real-world activities.
Bulk of the blockchain activity will move to business collaborations which might not even look like a blockchain. Crypto coins will be used in most business blockchains, but these coins will be value-less tokens and very specific to the business or institutional activity.

bitcoin is playing a very good role in the real world. bitcoin is changing the life of so many people that are working hard with bitcoin. That is a perspective of a pessimist about bitcoin. Bitcoin, a very well known crypto currency, has more of its advantages and disadvantages. In terms of how it is helpful in real world, having a single of it would be a great way in making you financially free. No more unemployment, because you can employ yourself on gaining bitcoins. It could buy you anything you want in real world despite of the fees and taxes. It can also be use as a payment method which is much better when you will bought online products and services. Lastly, by the means of trading, it could make a a third world country up to the top class, ending its poverty.

Yes it does. Anyone who says Bitcoin/crypto doesn't have any use in the real world is straight up lying or doesn't know what they are talking about. It has many uses and people use it every day to pay for almost anything.

The fact that bitkoyn does not play any role in the real world, such a statement does not correspond to reality. Bitkoyn now has a strong influence on the economy of most countries. China even recognized bitcoin as a threat to the economy of its country. For bitkoyn it is possible to buy now almost everything, having paid directly to them as a means of payment, or before transferring it to fiat. Therefore, we can not assume that it does not affect the real world in any way.
Tell that to the millions of users utilizing the network now, and thousands maybe hundreds of thousands of people who already are grateful for the money they've made and saved because the important of Bitcoin's store of value.
Whether you feel bitcoin has a role or not (it has already proven that imo), it's about supply and demand, and the demand is there.

I donot agree with this statement,Bitcoin has worthy impact on real world even it is not more popular but who know it and and part of bitcoin their lives become more easier,Bitcoin is best platform of trade and investment,financial security,and make transactions globally.There is no limitations earn as you want.
At the beginning while getting into bitcoin every user has the same thinking that bitcoin has nothing to do with the real world. When they start experiencing the goodness in terms of economy development and other life standard changes agree how it is helpful in real world.
