Probably none of the altcoins will survive in the long run, maybe only LTC and NMC

Remember the last time it tried doing that? Yeah... I don't think we need to worry.
Altcoins are extremely volatile, so they are great for making and losing money. So on the whole, they will survive. The ones that won't survive are the ones that have no network because of mining problems, such as high difficulty, constant forking, etc. It is nonsense that the coins to survive have active devs and services.
