Not sure if you have heard of Iranian rial failing against the price of USD right now, which is why there was a fluctuation in price but Bitcoin was worth the same price which it is already valued in USD. So, the news is nothing but a clickbait that is becoming laughing stock of the crypto enthusiasts.

According to news.bitcoin.com, Iran legalizes Bitcoin Mining and Bitcoin Hits $24,000 on the Iranian exchange EXIR.

I am linking the news here, let us discuss the impact of this in world Bitcoin market.

https://news.bitcoin.com/bitcoin-hits-24000-in-iran-after-government-okays-mining/

That was actually a incomplete misleading information shared on that site the pair which was shown is not the currency used in iran and it was eventually considered a false news. No wonder The market did not respond to it.

there is no chance that Bitcoin price in Iran can be this high, Bitcoin is international currency and his price is same in all world.
The price of bitcoin is not same everywhere it just changes according to the each exchanges and in localbitcoins.com the price will be slightly higher than the actual CMC value so it can be possible if one of the exchanges have huge demand for bitcoin nut it unlikely to happen since no one will pay more price for a product which can be bought at less price in the other exchanges.

Yeah that's right. Especially nowadays when Bitcoin is going through a very tighten phase no one can think of it seriously for the price to reach so high while there is no common use of it in that particular country. Anyway speculators flow such news to make people attract towards them but this one is a flop attempt. Even speculation too far from the real position will not impress anyone.

You are right. We can see that without re-checking the data Bitcoin.com news section has published the data too fast. The price of the Bitcoin today decreased like 12%. Basically, the participation and legalization of bitcoin in Iran didn’t affect the BTC price.

This is quiet unrealistic but I think its really happening. Its hard to believe on this one, but the news of making bitcoin legal in Iran is a good news for me. I know more countries will follow this steps towards good future. Bitcoin will still remain good around the world, and price should really be the same.

Bitcoin's value is the same everywhere in the world. How bitcoin can be different in Iran? It has made contradiction between online price and the price given there.

Well, you are not wrong. Bitcoin.com news section has published the news without re-checking the data. They did it too fast. The price of BTC decresed almost to 12%. The legalization and participation didn’t affect the BTC price basically.

That was actually pretty normal considering how upcoming the South Korean market was at that point. I have seen how much depth there was in the order books there. It was mind boggling.

That premium would've been flattened and remained flattened if people from elsewhere could've exploited it. No one, but no one, leaves a 20% difference on the table. It doesn't matter how beefy one market is, everyone else would pour in and strip the meat off given a sliver of a chance.

Even though Iran participated in legalizing bitcoin, this did not affect the market price of Bitcoin. For example, today Bitcoin has actually decreased in price what happened with your news.

That's because they've mainly legalised bitcoin mining (which means sales of newly minted coins in order to earn dollars).

How is that possible! It's a scam for sure. BITCOIN is worth the same price worldwide. It's universal. If you convert dollar to other currencies the price will be the same in that country. It is never possible that bitcoin will be $24000 in Iran,

Yes I think it's some sort of major scam because the price of bitcoin will remain same throughout the world.

Not saying that you are wrong. Here the Bitcoin.com has made it very fast without re-checking the data. The price is almost near 12% decreased by. The participation and legalization of crypto in Iran didn’t affect this basically.

I was quite confused too because today on the Iranian localbitcoins page I still see $20300 bids and $20400 offers. But the 2nd post in here explains it all. But theoretically it could be possible, I remember seeing BTC trading at $25k in some countries during the December peak, pretty high difference too.

I don’t understand why Iran rate is that much higher. There should be some reason for this. Is there are some mistake in writing currency, as Iran currency is rial. Its might be 2400 rial not $2400.

This news was shared in this forum previously and people already proved it wrong. The whole reason behind the news was that people were too eager to post it first rather than checking the authenticity of the news. Go check right now, Bitcoin is priced same in Iran as it is priced in USD.

In South Korea it was nudging $25,000 but since no one else can get money there it means nothing to anyone who isn't there.
That was actually pretty normal considering how upcoming the South Korean market was at that point. I have seen how much depth there was in the order books there. It was mind boggling.

What happens in Iran is just a joke overall with how there is next to no depth available, so one "larger" player unloading a couple of Bitcoins means the market will crash with 25% without any problems.

I remember there was an African country where the price was also heavily inflated, turns out, yet again the lack of depth. People need to look beyond that what news outlets want you to read.

This is like uncomfortable price to me. Everywhere in world price is under $7k, and how in iran so much. I don't know whether this news a valid or not. It may be something mistake or wrong.
