Even though Iran participated in legalizing bitcoin, this did not affect the market price of Bitcoin. For example, today Bitcoin has actually decreased in price what happened with your news.

LOL. bitcoin.com is caught in currency conversion and is confused about bitcoin price.

bitcoin in Iran is worth the same as it is worth everywhere else, right now it is worth $6448.77 as i am typing this. the thing is Rial has been taking for a while so for instance a couple of weeks ago 1 BTC used to be worth 58,032,000 IRR and now it is worth 87,048,000 IRR. if you take the new value and divide it with the old IRR/USD value you get $24000 as bitcoin price.

with a quick google search bitcoin.com could have found that the IRR/USD exchange rate has not been what they used here, for months now.

by the way, EXIR which they are quoting from is not even Iranian exchange, it is located in Korea and i don't see any license! on top of it the price there is exactly what i just said meaning the same as its USD value, nothing more nothing less.
