Investment usually involves expectation of profit. If bitcoin is not having the potentials of yielding interest within a speculated timing there is nobody that will invest in bitcoin so every holders have some profit in mind to make.
And this is the mentality or way of thing thinking that we should be changing for the betterment of the development of crypto currencies. Most of the people (including me, i won't lie) are just here for the profits, not for the technology and the power of the crypto currencies. They are investing on crypto currencies with a hope of making quick profit and sell it back for fiat currency. But was bitcoin actually made for making profit and using it as a storage value? or was it made so that people can get financial freedom and stop the using fiat currency?

That is the right thing to do. Remain calm and hold our bitcoins. But we cannot control the feelings of some holders. Especially those unexperience holders. Or those people who are new in crypto world. They might get carried away by the big drop. And get panic easily.

Yes I get your thought about bitcoin. You were stating that bitcoin is more like an asset for you to hold for market price will go high when supply lasts. And this is not how look upon bitcoin. I'd rather consider it as a digital currency for its function is literally for medium of exchange in the decentralized system. Bitcoin could also be apply on decentralized system for there were some company started to accept bitcoin. I have seen so many people claiming to be HOLDERS, just because they hold their bitcoins as long as the market falls like a few months, they call it that even though their true nature still feels uneasy when negative news arrives and the market does not show positive movement according to what they expected and led to panic. I think true HOLDERS are those who really hold their Bitcoin up to the time limit they specify or how much the coin they hold will grow regardless of outside influences.
Theres a different thpe of people who holds cryptocurrency,there are semi long term whos giving week of months of holding before they decide to sell,and there are long term holders whos willing to wait for years until, they’re target value reached.and besides if you hold a coin and you see its dropping value i think the normal reaction is to feel uneasy and panicked 
as a bitcoin holder, we must remain patient and calm because sometimes we will panic and cannot control emotions, believe that bitcoin will recover soon and the market will become green again and will be profitable

Yes very good suggestion but very hard to claim and quite because one bought at higher price and sell in lower prices thus makes him more frustrated so what he don't control himself.

I believe that those people who are still holding bitcoins even there's a lot of negative news spreading anywhere,will gain too much profits on the right time. They will be rewarded enough for their patience while holding for long period of time.
Exactly, there is a huge possibilities of gaining profits with a wide patience. Even with the negative FUD, we have to be strong and firm dealing this circumstances. And patience is only a required aspect for the success we aim, so bare to wait and hild for long time.

Bitcoin is an altcoin which can be traded against fiat globally, But Bitcoin is PoW types based coin so either user have to mine it to create it by solving blocks by contributing required hashpower. But according to difficulty and total hash power contributed for mining it gives very lower returns comparing to price of equipment.
Next thing is Bitcoin cannot be increased as PoS coins for keeping BTC within wallet.
So my honest suggestion is diversify your BTC for right altcoins which gives residual stakes rewards for keeping your investment safe.

Patience is very important here in the cryptocurrency world. Bitcoin holders must remain calm if they set a standard for the profit that they want. If they will hold or hodl, they need patience to avoid loss. Bitcoin is for a longterm investment. I preferred others if they want and easy bounty such as altcoin, eth, and others.
The long term full of fud/negative rumors has caused the logic to be patient is always eroded, especially seeing price movements that have never increased significantly throughout the year. in the end a sense of panic arises and makes concentration change towards the altcoin trade.
