$ 1357

it is difficult to predict the price in 2020 even to predict the future price of 1 month was also very difficult.
but I always expect the price could go back to touch $1000.

Bitcoin in 2020 will just a mid-improve in terms of price. Don't expect too much of the high price that year.

Our concern here is; hope bitcoin will still rocks in that year and for all here, hope signature campaign still present in that year. Smiley

If I live in 2020 I'll probably be one of the Bitcoin riches. I don't think about selling my whole stash next 4 years. There are 2 options.
1-Bitcoin survive. If this happens, Bitcoin will be more powerful than today, so expect a better price.
2-Bitcoin dies. Worst case scenario, I don't think it will happen anyway.

how much bitcoin you have..? aren't you selling your bitcoin in 2013 when then price reaching $1000..?
i think very hard to make bitcoin erach $1000 again

Actually I think it is almost impossible to know with accuracy what will be the future of bitcoin in four years mate. In my personal case I would be satisfied if this currency remains in the market and in the interest of people, with a worth of at least $1000.

Its hard to say for what is going to happen in the future. You will never know what will happen and that is not good.
But you must take risks when you are going to sell it or buy it. So that is quite scary. But that is the choice that you must do.

We can only expect and predict when talking about future, but there is some signs that Bitcoin will increase and get a stable price in the near future.

The price is already very stable. It is around $420 for about two months now. So the stability of the price will help adoption.
Stability of the price in such a short term won't help anything. It is the other way round. First we need much more adoption efforts in long-term to make Bitcoin widely recognised. If, and only if, that phase is successful, we may think about stabilising the price of Bitcoin as the effect of being widely recognised coin, and substituting speculation as the main driving force behind price movement. Until then it will be the well-known p&d pattern.

Yes it is future is never seet but for price in 2020 we can hope only for good stable price
Bitcoin will never be stable because it always depends in the market if there's a dump and pump..
if more seller in the market than buyer the price will decrease if more buyers and less supply the price will increase..

Bitcoin in 2020 will have been replaced by something else that got its shit together and accepted that it had to grow and attract new users.

Eventually bitcoin developer will have to agree at some point on their argument as the future of bitcoin is at stake here.
2020 is still a long way to go and a lot will surely happen.
you're right, 2020 is still very long, maybe when it bitcoin is not foreign to the whole world, I just hope when it bitcoin already received in all stores offline and online

online is quite possible but for offline it will take much more time and effort for it
it will need to be adjusted every now and then and that is something that wont be good

The value of bitcoin would be much higher by then, as we will see many users adopting bitcoin as a currency, and many businesses will enter into the world of bitcoins and many merchants will start accepting bitcoin as a payment method.
It must have happened in the period until 2020 and I'm sure it was. With time during the bitcoin would have increased on a large scale. I hope in the future bitcoin prices will soar.
Yeah it would be much better but the future of the bitcoin is very good at the moment with the halving in sight.
Also the fact that big company's will step in soon or later makes the future even better for 2020.

No way that btc replace current money in 2020 it will take much more for that to happen

I think we should all look at the possible scenarios though.

Yeah, I admit it cant replace currency but if the money had 8% inflation, then bitcoin would be considered as a alternative.

Since the currency is at 1.4% inflation for dollars its not a threat to fiat.

The bitcoin in 2020 can be really good, I think a lot of country's have stepped in by that time.
Its of course still a prediction because the bitcoin is not to predict but I think the bitcoin will be worth a lot more by than and a lot bigger, and maybe even a official currency.

Countries stepping into Bitcoin? Let's assume you are talking about governments, it will not happen. Governments are only interested in things where they can have full control over everything. With Bitcoin that isn't possible and that's exact the reason why they will never adopt Bitcoin.

I know goverment cant do this, but what if its based on companies that have governmental contracts.

I say private companies can take this route, if there is no other option and say its backed in some trust to get people going? no?

That's a possibility, but before they do that they must have a significant share in Bitcoin. Otherwise why would they ever do this. If they are planning to take a significant share in Bitcoin, then they have to start buying up which will cause the price to go up. Even if they buy in small amounts at the time. And then again, how much coins will they need to be satisfied? 200K? 500K?
