Well, it is not common in Asia since the biggest bitcoin mining can be found in China and at the boom of bitcoin value this year 2017 I think many engaged in Asia because of this. I am seeing that in the near future many more or maybe it will be doubled/tripled will engaged through bitcoin in Asia. I am hoping that this digital currency will be known throughout the world and may the currency used by every country.

Maybe Crytocurrencies are more well received in Asia. Japan, South Korea and China has the largest percentages of users, and other Asian countries are coming up such Singapore, Philippines, Cambodia, Indonesia. It is expected to gain more adoption towards the coming years. Few local markets has already adopted Bitcoin and this will continue to grow as we approach more media coverage and mainstream adoption.

In my country (the Philippines, which is in Asia), bitcoin is recognized but not yet accepted accepted as a paymnet system in establishments unlike in the other countries. However, their are exchanges and just recently, two more exchanges will open up. Hopefully this would pave the way towards more adoptions of bitcoin in the country.

I'm not so sure with the other asian countries, but I heard that it is accepted and cryptocurrency is recohpgnized as legal in Japan. Efforts have been made to adopt it as a legal currency, so I've heard.

Bitcoin is recognized and accepted in the Philippines.  That the reason why BSP is requiring Bitcoin startup companies and Exchanges to register their services.  If it is not accepted then BSP will never require these company to register and will reject them right on the spot.

I think Bitcoin in Asia is booming the same way Bitcoin is booming in other continent.

I suppose Bitcoin is more popular in Asia than in remaining world. I have heard that 20 % of people in China know and use bitcoin. And this percent actually is not so small. The percent of people in Europe is much lower indeed. I decided it by the situation around me - people are not interested in Bitcoin and long term investment around it. people here prefer their office jobs, fast profit and money that they can hold in hands. I suppose in your place, guys, the situation is not much different.

I think the main reason for BTC is already very famous and adopted in Asia is BTC has no tax, no boarder fees, accepted globally.

Online side income is really difficult in Asian countries.

Eg:
1. Getting paid for online survey is restricted to many Asian countries.
2. Even Paypal withdrawal is impossible in many Asian countries
3. Sending and receiving money is a nightmare in many Asian countries.

but all these possible via BTC.
BTC is an angel for Asians.

PS:
As you watch in porn and Hollywood japan is not the only one country in Asia.
There are 48 countries in Asian continent.

Agree, BTC poses a very positive role to ASIA so I strongly agree you say btc is an asians angel Wink
To keep the argument going I don't think you are right with what you are saying. Answering Paid Surveys are only available on certain countries that they do have a target or research on, I myself already joined some paid surveys for my particular country but I quit because the pay is not worth the time it consumes. And where did you get receiving and sending money is a nightmare for Asians? Have you not know that remittance companies are big in this continent from Western Union to their local remittance company sending money is easy, also online bank transfers are available even a cross country is possible. Asians are not left out of what is available to other people.

Pretty common in Asia and Europe. Asians take advantage of bitcoins as an escape from their respective fiat's deflation against USD. I live in the Republic of the Philippines after I left Japan. Here I noticed the Philippine Peso deflates value every year. I still remember some years ago when 1USD is = 48PHP but at the moment it is 1USD = 51PHP.

Now, with the help of bitcoins I was able to retain the buying power of my money. Instead of keeping my money in peso, I trade it with bitcoins and store it in a hard wallet.

As of this moment, more and more country that belongs to Asian Continent (Asia) is adapting bitcoin and Blockchain technology in fast phase. In the like of Japan, soon all of the country in Asia will legalize and regulates the used of bitcoin. I still belive that almost half of the users and investors in bitcoin markets are Asian.

Bitcoin users are increasing in Asia because more of Asians are attracted to social media campaign. And because of advertisement made through Social media, people in such countries notice what bitcoin is. The future of bitcoin in Asia is bright. Honestly, Asians involve themselves in bitcoin because o extra earning they can get. Even small paying campaign can mean a lot when converted into fiat here in Asia. Bounty hunter and signature campaigners most likely came from Asia because the payment is good enough to have good money.

Bitcoin in Asia is quite popular compared to the western Continents. This is all because of the increased acceptance and the people easily using it an way for getting an additional earning based on its legitimacy. In my thinking bitcoin will be growing high than expected as there is tremendous increase in adoption around the Asian countries.

china dont agree to bitcoin thats why many people didnt know the importance of bitcoin and they didnt know the effect of this.

In my knowledge, Bitcoin has the potential to have a major impact in Asia, particularly in Southeast Asia, as most peoples don't have access to banking services and a large market for remittances. Although the Bitcoin ecosystem in the region is largely underdeveloped, the Philippines, Indonesia and Vietnam are the countries with more promising opportunities thanks to the profitable markets and advancements they make in their Bitcoin ecosystem.

From what I know Bitcoin will have a bigger role in Asia in the future because the countries Japan and Korea are now allowinv stores to accept Bitcoin as a mode of payment. These Asian countries saw the opportunity of how accepting Bitcoin will benefit their country. I think they saw the future demand of Bitcoin and how their local businesses will prosper because of this. And I am hoping that other countries will soon follow their foot steps.

I disagree that country is Asia saw an opportunity initially, but its the individual or citizen that makes the government to adopt or even legalized it. Take a look at the Philippines, its a small country, there was no regulations in the beginning but the government has recognized VC's before. However, the citizens of the Philippines suddenly find bitcoin being a form of "sideline" as what they called it, then exchanges like coins.ph sprung and now there are 2 exchanges application currently being reviewed and chances of approval is very likely. So its the citizens in Asia that really drove bitcoin to be known in the continent. And yeah, I also hope that many will follow suit as well.
