What is your opinion: will btc become a currency with which you can pay in supermarkets, subways etc?
Or will it remain a crypto-currency used mostly in the Internet?

If you are asking to spend bitcoin in daily life then to be honest that is not possible for me at a moment as there is no place where I can spend my bitcoins, the usage is limited only online.

Exactly but its good spend bitcoin online for making purchases as now there are many online sites that accepts bitcoin, generally I do mobile top up using bitcoins.

I really could see Bitcoin being accepted at more brick and mortar stores. It would be pretty easy to just pay for your purchase using a wallet on your phone.
AFAIK it's possible to pay with your phone in McDonalds in my country, through another service called SEQR.

I wouldn't be surprised if they also added Bitcoin, one day..

I think in my country not only I but all my other friends must be use bitcoin as a currency using internet. but we cannot use it in our supermarket because the shopkeepers do not know any thing about bitcoin they have no idea about bitcoin. I think it will take such a long time when these shopkeeper may be able to learn about bitcoin and then accept bitocin in their shops.

It will remain n internet and will also supported by ATM cards and still it can be used like a normal currency as people nowadays prefer to shift to digital system with all of their businesses, so with that they will prefer digital currency with digital payment.

I dont think bitcoin will ever become a currency that will be used for everyday life. There may come a time when some cryptocurrency is used in everyday life but not bitcoin. I do think it could become the new gold though and be used as an investers tool. no reason it  couldnt reach moon levels by doing this either.

I think it will happen in the future.. because brazil have 150 stores are accepting bitcoin as payment.. and also we can use master card and debit card that associated with bitcoin like coinbank of bit-x.. So i think we are already using bitcoin in our daily life not everywhere but in some countries..
Well, it's not gonna happen just "in the future" because technically, it's already happening right now. Although there are only some chosen locations that have stores that accept bitcoins. In my place however, there isn't one near just yet but it's only a matter of time when someone actually starts accepting bitcoins.

it's growing, we are getting closer to this. We already have services that make it possible(like bitcoin debitcards) and with more time we might have it online sending directly from our wallet.

I think in present time it may be only the crypto currency and mostly be use in internet. although there may be some are like Brazil where people will be using it in real life. but in most of the area there is no such facilities. but I am hopeful that in coming days the use of bitcoin in real life is increasing  and people start buying and selling in bitcoin currency.

Due to large block times it will not be used for daily payments, but it can be used as an investment option.
For daily payments, i think ethereum will be a better cryptocurrency.

Well supermarkets and subways accept POS payments, I do not see any reason why bitcoins cannot be integrated into POS terminals and you can just swipe your bitcoin debit card and pay for stuff.

The debit card will be best for POS payments since lots of people can't memorize their private keys...

I think Bitcoin use will first spread in the Internet. With online shopping, the advantages of Bitcoin over established payment systems become most apparent. For brick-and-mortar stores, Bitcoin has to compete with physical cash payments. Equipping these stores with payment terminals (or at least smartphones) and training the staff to handle Bitcoin payments are additional hurdles.

However in the end, I'm pretty sure, that Bitcoin will be highly successful on all fronts - even if traditional payment system might not entirely disappear anytime soon. After all, there are already physical locations that accept Bitcoin. The trend on coinmap is really encouraging.

nah. if it was big enough for supermarkets and stuff to be considering taking it, that likely means its price is a load higher than it is now. people ain't gonna want to spend it unless its growth has effectively leveled out. greed is universal.

I think this will even turn from what you think. because supermarkets are definitely also will seek a greater advantage in using bitcoin as payment. I think they will give you a much lower price than they were, because they certainly know about the unstable price bitcoin

It seems to only be on the internet for myself. I don't have any physical store around me that accepts bitcoins. I hope at some point they get with the times, but I'm not counting on it anytime soon.

Bitcoin is a cryptocurruncy and it will always remain so.Even if you spend it in supermarket or subways it will still be cryptocurruncy. Many off line store have already started accepting bitcoin but I think it will be more preferred for online transactions

Yeah bitcoin is really good for online purchases and also for money transfers, and to be honest I feel that credit card is still the best for offline purchases.
