~~I also received a lot of criticism when choosing to resign from my work in early 2018, and chose to focus on being a trader and bounty hunter.~~
I guess the hardest criticism must come from family, not other people. And we cannot blame them to criticize because we know that they have good intentions. I bet most people think that it is too risky for you and have an unclear future. Correct?

~~Criticism was enough to shake my decision, but this is my choice, I can more freely express myself in doing work as a freelancer.~~
True. However, it is your own decision. And never regret that decision. Sometimes it won't be easy to face, especially in the beginning and with that condition in 2018. But finally, you see that crypto market is improving and the value of Bitcoin getting higher. You must have big profits if you bought your Bitcoin asset in 2018.   Smiley

I hope you learn something about my bitcoin experience. Thank you for reading.
You have learned life lessons that are very important and one thing I have learned from you is not to give up easily. I also received a lot of criticism when choosing to resign from my work in early 2018, and chose to focus on being a trader and bounty hunter. Criticism was enough to shake my decision, but this is my choice, I can more freely express myself in doing work as a freelancer. Of course, it is not easy because afterwards there has been a lot of downturn in the market and many bounty campaigns have scams, not in line with expectations like most successful bounties in 2017. However, I have persevered and are more selective, the proof is still very profitable. The key is to keep learning from mistakes and don't give up easily, and don't forget to be always grateful.

I am glad you stuck with it, when I nearly lost everything in 2018 that I had worked for in 2105-2018, I felt very sad and discouraged, but because I really believe in the decentralization movement and the power to create your destiny in a more creative economic setting, I stuck with it and am slowly crawling away from ground zero again. I also take my salary now in Bitcoin and when I get time, I trade as well. I think this year might be a better year from the last two I had. I nearly lost all my shirts as they say, but I won't give up either. Thank you for your encouraging post, good for others to see and take note.

I guess that goes for everyone who went through 2018 and the start of 2019. Though you can't really  blame people for being critical if they've seen how btc dropped drastically from ath. If i was someone who don't know much about btc, i'd pretty much be on the criticizing end as well. But it is how it is and we know what we're doing with our money so we make calculated risks.
if you take the credit of success for yourself by saying you have adopted good strategies, you have ability to loose knowledge, do the same when you fail. The risks in the market are not surprise for you, you should better calculate the risks first in this way you will not be disappointed. This makes you more able to deal with the situation in a better way. I would also say that do not criticize on the market for its dumps that is the built in quality of Bitcoin.

This is another great story that silences others criticisms of the bitcoin lover community in the world.

I have heard of success stories where a friend of mine was considered a crazy person by others in the community because of bitcoin. But who would have thought, he managed to get what he wanted because of bitcoin, buy something he could never buy and change his lifestyle and improve economic status because of bitcoin.

I know that bitcoin has brought huge changes in the economy of its community throughout the world, and this is a positive impact that can be enjoyed by the community and now I feel the same even though it is only a small percentage.

But the thing that should always be our consideration is, the risks that exist in bitcoin. This applies to investment, trade and security. There are still many cases that occur, losses due to lack of knowledge and experience in investment and trading and losses due to lost or stolen assets and I think this is an issue that we should always consider as bitcoin users.

These are some inspiring stories to hear. Really happy that you guys stuck in the ride and continued pursuing bitcoin despite the negativities that you have experienced. This is the best thing about setting up proper expectations when you're promoting or recommending bitcoin to people. If you haven't been in the impression that bitcoin's not a get-rich scheme there's no telling where we'll be at right now.

There's a lot of other advantages to keeping quiet about your coins - you'll be less likely to get robbed, or attract unwanted attention from officials, and you won't have to experience your family and friends begging you for money once Bitcoin reaches moon, like it happens with lottery winners. Plus you won't be held responsible for any mistakes those people make if they will decide to start with Bitcoin because of you.

I sticked in campaigns (particularly weekly campaigns) and save as many bitcoin as possible. I wait patiently and I think $9k market price is quite profitable already.
~

That's right, but, please, don't sell all of your coins at once. I'm not trying to say that BTC will definitely go to it's new ATH in the nearest future, but it's quite possible that $12k will be crossed soon. I can understand that you may probably need the money right now, so, I would suggest you to cash out 20%  or 30% of what you have, but not more than that. Then sell another part, but only after spending everything from the previous cash out.

It's almost the same here guys, when I have introduced to the people who around me about the blockchain system and especially of Bitcoin then nothing came to me in an easy way, most of the people didn't even believe this invention for their own purpose, So I have heard from many people who have faced such type wired experience regarding this issue, forget about those faces, just hold on Bitcoin for another months and make money by this way and show those people how to make money and how to grab the opportunity for your own.
don't lose hope mate,if we are really here to help the Market then it is our way to encourage them and not just to walk away when they deny your prepositions, remember that there are tons of scams going in the internet so people might think this is another one but in time, when they found out that you are living from your gains here then their mind will change and ask you to teach them.

Too many people criticize what they don't understand, they think bitcoin is over and never going to grow again or it's now too expensive and they use this to sell scam coin to the public. But bitcoin has proven time and times again that they are all wrong.
They are just judging bitcoin so early and more likely those people who are doing this are those who are beginners and doesn't have any experience on the real situation of dump of bitcoin that anytime that bitcoin dumps it is likely a soaring phoenix that is soaring high or pumping so high.
Bitcoin already proven it's fluctuating side in which it really depends on the situation of market if it is good or bad. this probably will prove again that bitcoin is very strong enough to stand alone in all ages.
experience makes us know information that has been experienced, and also will not easily believe in someone's perspective. so when there are comments about the price of bitcoin, then we already know that circulation continues to spin and we can take advantage of these price movements.

The people surround us have different appreciations towards the market, some may say that crypto is a scam and while the others you're on the right path.  And I understand that some people would always be thinking negatively towards the crypto cause in the first, they'll never know about it and most probably they are wrong. This could be an endless debate about different ideas with only their basis is what they have heard in the news.

Better not to go through along them and even we give some explanations and corrections, they will stand even they are wrong. We know already how the market works, and so we don't need to bother if they don't believe us.

That's quite inspiring. The criticisms you have received made you a strong person now. See, you have been motivated and determined by your own goals and that is to proved that you are right about Bitcoin. I can't blame you for thinking that Bitcoin is an easy quick money, well at least you have realized that it is not. Since it is volatile and there is no particular sure time when will it boom.
we all did mate, all of us at first think this is just a quick profit(though there are few that has different opinion and plans)because many of us starts to enter crypto when the price is in hype or in growth .
The moment we entered here, we should be ready with all the risks. Now you have learned your lesson and guess its's not only you but we (bitcoin holders) had learned too from our previous believes and mistakes. Let's just continue to grow inside. Bitcoin is a good investment, just know "when" to buy and sell.
yeah but in case we are really devoted to invest here?let us learn when to buy only and forget about selling because we need to invest here our spare money as we can risk to lose,so forgetting about our crypto asset is really a best way of investing for long term.

Many people end up disappointing in the end, and it is understandable, in all markets what most plays are emotions, maybe understanding the market in many people is not enough, most when they enter the world of Bitcoin they want to become fast millionaires and not It is so, it is incorrect, everything has a process, both learning and experience, it is always necessary to try to learn to understand the market, not only at a technical level but at a fundamental level.

Today, Bitcoin represents for many the successful way out of the crisis, especially in countries with high inflation, when it handles Bitcoin it frees itself from a large yoke imposed by banks and governments, a deflationary economy full of opportunities compared to the traditional centralized economy really earns what That is more accessible for people, bitcoin for many represents freedom and the best solution. Great experience he has told, I recommend you read some books like Jesse Livermore's, who was a great speculator who learned to understand the market and got rich 5 times and 4 times lost everything, it is exceptional.

And how do your critics feel now?

Do they still continue with their doubts over Bitcoin or they have already changed feathers and are now one of us?

If they are truly a critics then I would understand that they can change their stance seeing that the price or adoption is growing. But if they are a complete hater, regardless of bitcoin going from $3,000-$100,000, they wouldn't understand a thing because they are going to be closed minded.

Or perhaps they are neither a critic nor a hater. I have encountered a lot of people who are discouraging me to use Bitcoin and get involved in it. But they do not know what they are talking about. Their basis is some poor information they got probably from social media and some friends who are as ignorant as them. They simply need someone to give them proper education on it.
right, most of those who enter the head are negative news about bitcoin, so they are afraid to learn it. they are afraid without understanding, and I think this is like a fool, because they don't open their minds widely

That is one great story.
I love it.
I am sorry I lack the sMerits to give you. I have not much in my account. I hope you appreciate even just 1.
Thank you for the nice story.

I then realized at the end I have the same sad story as yours.
But I didn't stop at cultivating my friends with information even just little by little.
Somehow it did work.

Yes, we could stay in silence but after some time it suffocates you. You just want to share it with someone.
Well, thanks to this forum we could do that. We can share with co-bitcoin enthusiast which also understands us.
But there is a difference when you explain it physically with someone. Emotions will burst out.

Good luck to everything that you will do.

An ignorant man is no fool really. He simply needs to be informed or to be enlightened. The problem is that they knew or have heard or read Bitcoin first from sources that are not reliable, and they failed on digging up some more that is why they stayed ignorant. Well, if they closed their minds on the process, they are fools. But if they are still open for more elucidating information, they are still potential Bitcoin supporters.

The biggest investors which I considered whales isn't vocal about this, and it remained so confidential along the developments of cryptocurrency around the world. Their ability to be discreet about the raging challenges in bitcoin, made them more observant on the recent market changes.
We can't have an accurate predictions each time the value of bitcoin changes, so it's better to stay calm and just wait for future price outbreak which is very surprising.

There are big investors who are silent as there are also big investors who are vocal about their support of Bitcoin. But I suspect that most of them are silent about Bitcoin because it is still on the process of being openly accepted by most countries and traditional institutions. There are investors who have just opened ip about their Bitcoin investment even if they have already been maintaining a huge Bitcoin portfolio for a long time.

But I think the big investors should be the ones who will talk and discuss about it if they want the whole world to lend an ear. I guess one of the main reasons why they kept quiet all this time is that Bitcoin is still treated as a revolutionary currency which is built to dismantle the current system of which they are a part.
