We all know how the banks system works, soo you wanna to get interest at your coins, this is already offer at bitcoin with its high volatility, do you really wanna put your coins at bank to they lend your coins to others?
Unless banks have an actual secure way of keeping our coins safe, I am willing to store my coins to them but of course, at a minimal amount only as I would prefer to keep a majority for myself. It is never wrong to have many places as your 'hiding' area for your assets.

When bitcoins become legal somewhere, yes, it's possible but nowdays it's two different sides, people trying to forget banks and starting use bitcoins.

Is it possible that Bitcoin can be deposited in the banks in the near future? I mean like any other currencies that can be deposited and withdraw in the banks.
I don't see any reason why we have to store our bitcoin in banks, while our bitcoin wallets are banks itself where we store our coins and it will depends to the owner of the bitcoin if what kind of wallet he/she will use a desktop, hardware, or a web wallet. Just make sure that wallet is trusted enough to store your coins because its all about money, a money online.

no matter how much you trust a site that provide a wallet for your bitcoins, it is still prone to hackers and your hard - earned bitcoin may gone in just a blink of an eye. i want bitcoin to be affiliated with banks because of the security and insurance Cheesy i know that banks are insured to their mother banks in their respective countries Cheesy
Bitcoin in the banks is unlikely to happen any time soon, because it’s still not familiar in worldwide and not stable yet. Moreover, bitcoin wallets more flexible than banks, not too many rules and regulations as banks in general. Although online wallet vulnerable to hackers, the admin is constantly updating their security, we could just hope the best from them.

Believe or not but this is already happening.
On several exchanges you can lend out yout Bitcoin for some small daily interest rates.
I myself would never do this but I know a few guys who think this is a good way to make some profits and are doing it.

I agree, everything that is connected to internet is prone to hacking.  Even your wallet which you think is securely setup in your computer is prone to hacker.  Hackers are clever, they can steal any data from your computer in just one wrong click. Even with all the malware installed, phising, malware and virus keep on evolving.

Counter methods advance too! Spending some money for ZoneAlarm and SpyShelter will keep any hacker out  Cheesy Ofc they can still try to social engineer you but that depends solely on how you manage things.

If it becomes so (even tho you have online bitcoin banks) I don't think I'd ever deposit, since you can make your bitcoin wallet secure just as much.

trust for bitcoin..is more than trust for bank...bitcoin is save and secure easy to access...but bank can liquidate. and i dont if bitcoin can have a place in the banks...cause of btc savety..
how can you say that bitcoin wallet is secured ? do you remember the time that some of bitcoin wallet was hacked by someone ? i think bank is more secured than bitcoin wallet because if someone stall your money you can investigate it by reporting it on the agents of the banks where your money are deposited, and how if your bitcoin stall by someone ? what are you going to do ? nothing because you don't know what to do and you are going to watch your bitcoin losing/stealing from your wallet

Banks are also secured, if you loose your money then you can claim bank and you will get back your money while in case of bitcoin account, if someone hack your account then whom you claim or blame for your money?? So i think both are secured and have their own importance. And if bitcoin is place in banks then we have collect bitcoins from banks and use where we want and one thing more if it is happen then bitcoin is accepted in stores also.

Wow this topic again!!!! It is not possible to treat bitcoin like a currency as there are no physical bitcoin. How ever it might come as a ray of hope to you that you can store private keys in a bank. But I like many of us hope that bitcoin could be used in banks.

Yes, this is possible. Invest BTC in banks can be new service for bank clients. The problem can be - what will be the ROI of such bank BTC deposit ? And probably banks can not solve this in nearest future, because then they must find where to invest BTC.  Grin

i doubt we will ever see such a thing its just not for them

Beside the fact that it will nevever happen, we also don't need it to happen, and shouldn't want it to happen. We are our own banks for once. We should be happy that Bitcoin gives us this opportunity.

we are just hoping that bitcoin will be affiliated with banks in the near future because we want more security to our funds. we all know that all banks have their own insurance on their mother banks on their respective countries.

That's true. To overcome the features as well access available in banking system digital currencies came into existence. Now if bitcoin gets used in banking, its uniqueness gets vanished. For this reason bitcoin in the banks is truly difficult.

It can be possible in the future if banks can accept to implement the bitcoin inter-fracture in to their banking system

You're wrong the bank will never to do that, they just taking any things is very useful for them and I don't think so the bank will take their rival to infiltrate into their system, never and never. maybe just copied the bitcoin system it's possible for the bank.

but it can be possible in the future.
because bitcoin has been so profitable so far and it will continue being proftiable in the future too. so banks like any other financial institute out there LOVE profit and can enter bitcoin scene to use this opportunity to make more money.
