Bitcoin is independent and thats the way it was created. So, why put on bank?  What would be the purpose of all existing bitcoin wallets out there? So, youre thinking it would possible to put a bitcoin on bank, i would say its impossible to happen.

Is it possible that Bitcoin can be deposited in the banks in the near future? I mean like any other currencies that can be deposited and withdraw in the banks.
Nope i dont think so if you are referring to pure bitcoin inside a bank thats the purpose of your wallet and if the price of bitcoin suddenly drops bankruptcy would come for that bank

Wrong, banks will not go bankrupt from any currency used. Because the Bank is the main place in the exercise of all existing financial governance. So if the price drop then the bitcoin bankrupt and loss are people using Bitcoin, not Banks

That is why i want op to specify if pure bitcoin will be putted in the bank if so yes it lead them to bankruptcy as they primary use bitcoin note i am only stating a scenario o
Not based on reality

Scenario O you mean is less clear. Because in the system used by banks, they prefer the profit and success of their banks rather than things that can destroy their company. So banks will never go bankrupt although he tools rely on is no longer useful

It is now happening in our country! We have an online bitcoin wallet that is affliated with various banks.
We can also pay bills using our wallet.
Transaction fee is actually low to none. The best wallet in my opinion.

Does it pay interest?
If not, I will feel safer with my coins in cold storage.
You are just taking a big risk for the sake of convenience.

No you don't pay interest. Actually, they give you a rebate for every bills you pay and top up you make!
But of course, using cold storage is still the safest. I must agree to that.

Really? there are banks that are affiliated with bitcoin in your country? from what country you are from? does they provide an ATM card for your bitcoin? i hope the same will happen in our country because i think our bitcoin will be safer if affiliated with banks Cheesy

I think it could be done, but it sort of goes against the independence of bitcoin. One of the reasons it was created was to avoid control by banks and governments. I think many people would not want to trust the banks with their bitcoin.
yes bitcoin is different from the bank. bitcoin stands alone as a different currency. until whenever conventional banks can not unite with bitcoin. someday bitcoin will create its own bank. The bank's name is BANK Bitcoin.

I think that if we would have BTC in banks,it could be a little bit dangerous.
Because btc is really easy to invest actually,or to trade it.
If you would loan BTC from bank, and some scammer site would take it away, bank would be a problem for  you i guess.
So it is not good for me,but it may be an interesting idea.

you are right in present time it is not possible to deposit bitcoin from bank because it will be take too long time and if bitcoin possible in the bank then i hope so that bitcoin will be most powerful currency in the world and then everyone invest their money in bitcoin and more people get awareness about bitcoin and i hope  we will soon see it happen in the future .

I don't think this will be viable for the banks for one simple reason - the very fluctuating price of Bitcoin will cause a constant loss of money when the value dips so they won't want to risk it with such a highly volatile asset like Bitcoin. It will be pretty much a gamble every single day and I don't think banks would want to deal with volatile digital currencies like Bitcoin. Also it would be very hard to calculate people's account balances in real time as the Bitcoin's price can jump up and down for dozens of dollars every minute or so.

why should we deposit it to a specific place when we have portable online wallets and portable hardware wallets. we have already seen what banks do with our deposited money and now we are using bitcoin where we have 100% control over our coins.
because you'll sometimes need fiat on this world which bitcoin still not accepted that much and on limited condition, bitcoin will only available if there's internet but with cash you can take it everywhere,so just find whether using bitcoin or fiat depend on condition, and bank can't do anything with your money if you don't break any rules and government just not touching your money
It's not just 'someday'. I think there are going to be bitcoin banks in the near future since I've seen many articles that some banks are actually working on adopting bitcoins into their system, if not, are developing a way of making a bitcoin bank. I think that's a good idea, since all transactions are going to be in public and we can always keep track of what or where our coins are.

But indirectly it is possible with exchanges, in a number of exchanges we convert our money to fiats and then withdraw them to our banks to our accounts, I think that is the example of withdrawal of our bitcoins to our banks.

Good question. Someday maybe. I see a bank which you can withdraw your bitcoin in exchange for fiat. But I dont really know maybe it is just the online wallet who is using them and that certain website is just the one getting the bitcoin. Which they have an account to that certain bank you can withdraw into. Ergh I am having a problem explaining it. But the thought that it might have some chance in the future is there.

That is possible. SImple logic will do. They will accept bitcoins and offer interest then they will give loans in form of bitcoins. Simple as that.
yeah but i think its better if we could take bitcoin as goods rather then currency !
