I dont think there is anyone who will accept bitcoin as a payment to their insurance services as the price of bitcoin is not stable unlike fiat which is their main currency accepted. Maybe if you buy an insurance to them then the hospital must accept bitcoin too but I dont think theres any out there accepting it. If you're dependent are willing to receive bitcoin too then it will be a good trade.

I do not think that this exists because assurance companies are very tied to banks and state. Also Bitcoin is still not very well-known. For sure there is not any in my country.

Good day! i'm currently working on a life insurance company and I'm wondering if there is a company in the world that offers an insurance policy where in you can pay in bitcoin? I think it will be a good idea because it will be more convenient to pay in bitcoin. What do you think?

way more convenient methods like cards or mobile payment. Though there might be a market out there to insure bitcoins for fiat, after all the instability of bitcoin is why many companies won't accept it but the other way round may be more profitable and accessible

I have seen this a while ago, https://bitcoinmagazine.com/articles/bitcoin-based-peer-to-peer-insurance-company-teambrella-releases-pre-launch-demo-version-1473441122/

Disclaimer : I have not tested it, and I know very little about it. I just flagged it for further research, because the concept was interesting

to me.  Grin ....This grabbed my attention : " Teambrella is set to become the first decentralized bitcoin-based insurance company, where users

insure each other."
This is fascinating, but it's not available yet. There's a 'demo' version on their website: https://teambrella.com/

I haven't seen any insurance company accepting bitcoin as payment for regular premiums. If Op is sure of taking policy by paying bitcoin as premium then he needs to find a policy agent who accept bitcoin and pay to the insurance company in terms of fiat.

find a company you rate. ask if they'll accept bitcoin, send them a link to bitpay or coinbase. the worst that'll happen is that they'll say no. they probably will so pay with a bitcoin debit card instead.

Would you mean that they accept monthly premiums in bitcoin and would pay out in bitcoin? I wouldn't really care for a company that just accepts bitcoin, as it kind of limits them to the small niche of the bitcoin community and would be a horrible business model for any new business.

If you want to get the attention of all, you accept all payment methods for credit cards and such PLUS bitcoin!

A company that accepts bitcoin as payment, or an insurance company that works with bitcoin (that will pay you with bitcoin too)? The first case is easier, any company could join with bitpay an accept bitcoins as payment system.

In my country, there is an exchanger that offers a service to accept payments for insurance companies. I dont think insurance companies will accept premiums directly using Bitcoins. An insurance companys goal is to maximize their earnings as much as possible and with Bitcoins price being unstable and unpredictable, insurance company might lose money.

Do you only want to be able to pay in Bitcoin or is holding Bitcoin also part of the insurance investment plan? The former is almost nonsense, because this only changes the order of the first two steps. from 1. exchange bitcoin for fiat then 2. pay the insurance company to 1. pay the insurance company then 2. they exchange bitcoin for fiat. But if it is the latter, then i guess insurance companies do not like the high risks involved in Bitcoin and the result would be a high premium to pay.
In any case i guess there is quite a problem with regulation, so nobody wants to do it.

The real her is no insurance that accept Bitcoin is Premiro
Premiro offer insurance without having to deal with the hassle of paperwork as previously tasted traditional way. Premiro.com managed by a company called PT. Applied Ibisnis Partners. This company is a technology-based insurance broker. You can use Bitcoin to pay your insurance, because this method has been supported by BitBayar.com

I don't think it is possible. I was in the insurance business before too. I think it is impossible because the people you have to offer it to requires that you talk to then personally and that you have to assess their health before the company approves the application. What we can do is that you can just offer a payment method via bitcoin and not really a no face to face kind of thing.

It is also a good idea but I not see any insurance company would accept Bitcoin payments so. The price of Bitcoin currently not stable, they may be risky. If price of Bitcoin increases they would benefit, but if price decrease , they will be at a disadvantage

Seems interesting.I'm also wondering if there is a company in the world that offers an insurance policy where in you can pay in bitcoin? I doubt any kind of service exists anywhere in the world.Accepting bitcoin could mostly involves with risk because of where bitcoin price don't stable or others problem are connected.Bitcoin is a form of digital currency, most of it's decentralized.

I think this is unlikely to happen
Current, Bitcoin is not acceptable in some countries, so the bank can not do as above
However, I really hope that, in future, such a bank will appear

i never heard or never know that there is a life insurance company that accepting bitcoin as the payment and if there is available, then i think it will be good for us to pay in bitcoin. this is something that maybe happen in future if bitcoin is available in every where and many people is using bitcoin.
