Every time BTC reaches a new ATH people say it's too late to invest, it's too expensive. I had a friend say this to me when it was at $4,000 so he wanted to buy another coin. Now's it's double. Remember friends, we are still very early - BTC is only held by a few million people.

Bitcoin seems to be on the rise lately. I'm wondering what might be the best way to maximise profits. Any suggestions?

in my opinion if u want to buy bitcoin it's should be on 6000$ or 6500$, high risk if u want to buy now, but it's just my suggestion  Smiley

sell when bitcoin is about to dump and buy when it is start to pump. or you can just buy and hold it and wait for a year or more to gain more profit.

Let's take a look bitcoin value from year 2009 ~ 2017 , you will see bitcoin's value always increase from year to year.
It's good investment for long term but remember if you can't afford to loss , just stay away because bitcoin value still consider volatile by many economist expert around the world

If I say in bitcoin this is not too late. All there are individual blessings in following and working on and even investing what you have now. If you want a better profit you choose for the long term. This is what I do too. May we succeed in investing in this bitcoin.

I don't think bitcoin will fall below than $7000 this month, just my prediction so if you want to maximize your profit just buy it and hold it for a long time. Bitcoin investment is a long term investment because many believe that the price of bitcoin will increase in the next years. If you want, try to buy some altcoins too and hold it or try trading.

My strategy lately in gaining profit is focus on buying. I had observed that when Bitcoin price is ATH or on its peak, the altcoins are usually on the dip. That's the time that I will buy altcoin because after a few days, there will be a pump on them. Sometimes,if there is a good ICO, I'm also investing on them and waiting after a few months to sell it. I hope that this strategy can help you.

Sometimes greed just bothers your progress. The attemp to maximize the profit can turn the situation worse and make you lose money, so why don't just hold Bitcoins and wait until you are able to sell it and make profit? Why to risk your money with trading (especially if you don't have experience), gambling or Ponzies/HYIPs? Surely there are some good methods to increase your profit, but it's not a lot, examples are FreeBitco.in investment and casino bankroll (risky anyway on short term).

Always check the trend, as of now there is no surrounding issues or scandals hovering around Bitcoin, there is no such "FUD" articles relating to Bitcoin and the movement is now on uptrend movement. This is a good time to invest but still it should be observed well, Bitcoin's price is volatile, always remember that.Investment has risks and know your Risk Appetite before Investing, consider everything including your emotional capacity, because Investment has no guarantee that you can surely generate profit to it. Investment is risky.

As of Now,The trend to have an instant profit is to do the Day time Trading, which is some of them have successful results , if you want to read more, go to Trading Discussion board.

Hi,

My answer may be quite surprising but I would say: don’t be greedy. You can make profit with bitcoin, but as in poker, it is better to take your time and make “sure” movements.

Maybe, at some point, you will thing “I should have bought right before” or “I should have sold after”, but you can ensure steady profits through the forecast of long-term trend. Nothing can be assured but if you bet small and steady, I think it is your best chance to increase your profits!

Otherwise, casinos and other gambling websites can be interesting (their margin is generally around 1%) so you really have a chance to duplicate your btc!

Indeed, being greedy is one sure way to make sure you lose everything. The most important thing is long-term thinking to ensure that your investments are safe and secure and you will not lose them fast or get scammed which are huge concerns in the crypto community right now and also very unfortunate.
By the way casinos have much higher than a 1% advantage. That is only if you play perfectly, but most people do not and therefore they have a much higher edge than that.

Maximizing profits needs proper timing and good investment choice you can do my style. I invest 50% of my earnings on bitcoin for a long term by keeping my bitcoin in my wallet then the remaining were use to buy some alts or ICO for trading purposes, this one is for short term investment in this method you can maximize your profit but if you have more capital I suggest you try investing in ICO project it is believe this can be a big hit in due time.

Holding would probably be your best bet. Try to get in when bitcoin is on a short fall. If you see a drop in the range of 200-500 and you believe that there will be a rebound, buy as soon as you can during that drop. When the price rebounds and it starts rising again, you will have some profits. Chances are, that if you hold throughout 2018 where there will likely be a rise due to stronger support from the tech scene. All of this is speculation right now, but hey, it's your trust that brings bitcoin up!

bitcoin is not a short-term investment, if you want a short-term investment I suggest to choose another altcoin. But if you still want to choose bitcoin, you better buy at the current price then hold up for several years ahead, because the price will definitely rise higher

Go for a long term investment if you really want to join with the ride. Bitcoin has so much journey ahead so I think it is not really late to join. Buy coins that you can afford to and hold them. Even if they are just a fraction of bitcoin, they have worths and holding them will make them grow if you got it right.
if you really can afford to have bitcoin and join with the party better to take that and make no doubt on it we know that bitcoin is a good investment and no can ever tell that you can have nothing because bitcoin can be more than as you ever think . Bitcoin will be more good in the future.

Like everyone else, the best thing is to buy bitcoin and wait for him to grow. Bitcoin is growing and i think till the next year, maybe february or may, will not stop. Sow, the best way is to increase it by buying bitcoin.

Bitcoin is a good investment. But you don't have to do anything with it. Just buy and keep it in your wallet.
That's more than enough. In long run you will get profit from it because its price will only increase.
In my opinion don't do any trading with it because you have to pay a hugh amount as fee.
Just keep it  in your wallet as such and remember to keep your password and private keys safe. That's it.

Well, if you have thought about it a week ago, you could have easily bought Bitcoins at a 150$ cheap rate (When bitcoin was dumping) and by now (when it is near its all time peak value), you could have gained the profits already.  Anyways, if you are long time holder, i would suggest to wait for few days and if you see market being to crash, buy some coins according to you budget and keep them save for the year end. I hope bitcoin will cross 10K by this year end.

this is the riskiest time you could possibly invest. yes, there is a very strong chance that bitcoin will continue up to 10k, but there is not guarantee of how long that will take, and how long we will stay there. these price levels are absurd, and im starting to fear that what I thought was excessive but genuine enthusiasm, might actually be one of the most epic pump and dumps that I have seen in recent memory. we just keep going up people, on good new, bad news, fuck it sometimes no news. this price has no justification. I hate to sound like the bank bros, but as we near 10k for no good damn reason I have to wonder:

how long is this going to last, in this state?
