Bitcoin is a good investment now, because the price of bitcoin is so high right now and i'm sure bitcoin will become the next gold and someday bitcoin become popular and all people around the world will use bitcoin. That's why bitcoin is a good investment.
I think bitcoin is already popular since a lot of popular companies like microsoft are already using bitcoin as a payment option, and the price of bitcoin are steadily increasing, I think this is a good chance to invest now on bitcoin after it will hit next year.
bitcoin is more famous than ever, yeah it was evident by the increasing number of large enterprises accept bitcoin and more and more people using bitcoin. bitcoin certainly be much more famous in the future, and this is a potential bitcoin, and it could be an opportunity to make a profit, and therefore bitcoin is a good investment

this is new to me. I do not realize that Microsoft has already accepted Bitcoin in their business. It is very good chance for someone who decide to own Bitcoin for themselves. Let's apply to Microsoft and we may have some extra Bitcoin Cheesy

I do not think that it is really possible to be in a stable $700-800 window and still be volatile. In such a case it would be far to easy to say when to buy and sell. This would result in a still mate since at $800 everybody would want to sell, but nobody would want to buy. Stable but not volatile.

Lol if you say stable of course it is not volatile.  This two are contrasting terms and you should have used "and" not "but".  It just make your line "stable but not volatile" senseless.  I don't know but your sentence structure is contrasting making it confusing.

I don't think that bitcoin will stay long at $780-$790.  Many analyst says bitcoin is bullish at this moment and anytime it will break $800 barrier.  They said new money is moving in so it is possible that Bitcoin will be @ $850 at the end of the year.
Please do not quote me without the context. This was an answer to a poster who made the premises that the price would stabilize in the window of $700-800. I only took his premises and showed that this is not possible. Hence my conclusion that you can only have a stable or a volatile price but not both at the same time.

You seem to have misunderstood my point. I don't mean that the price will be moving from $700 to $800 and back again. It could move erratically without any pattern whatsoever, but saying that the price won't be able to stabilize in some price window for longer doesn't make much sense, in my view. For example, the dollar/euro currency pair is trading in a rather tight range and that has been so for years, therefore there is no reason to think that a similar or somewhat wider range, in percentages, can't establish itself for Bitcoin too.
the problem is that you can only look at the history and give a window for what have been. because if you know that there is a window and the Bitcoin price will stay guaranteed in this window of let us say $700-800, then i will not care if the price changes erratically or not. If he is at $800 he will go down or stay there and at this point you have perfect stability, because everybody would want to sell since this would be the only way of making a profit, but nobody would want to buy since it would be a guaranteed lost.

I'm obviously not telling that Bitcoin will be stuck in that range for good, but just because most people will think that it won't stay in some range as you try to prove, it may in fact stay there for long enough time frame. A lot of people were guessing that Bitcoin will not jump over 800 because they believed that there should be a correction, but Bitcoin continues to grow. It seems to be just one of those cases when the majority is always wrong in the end.

Bitcoin is a good investment now because it is has been and it will be a good investment simply because of the fact that people will want to invest where there will be returns and Bitcoin has continue to offer that and it has not fail to do this. For example last week it was in the range of $750-$780 but this evening at Blockchain, it has gone to $790 and there are predictions that it will go as high as $800 by Christmas.

It is always good to invest in bitcoin as long as it is alive and in markets, because if it is there then there is always a possibility of a price increase with it so the investment can increase with the time, so no matter where the price is in present, if you invest in it you will surely get some profit in future.

When the price starts to fall, it may be too dangerous to start catching falling knives. It is nice to enter the market at the bottom, but we never know where the true bottom is, just like we don't know where the top is. We all seem to expect the price to correct in the nearest future, but at the same time we still hope that Bitcoin will continue to rise further. In any case, riding the trend is more profitable and reliable in the long haul than going against it, and right now the price is trending upwards.

In order to ultimately benefit from the lowest price, I keep buying in smaller steps all the way to the bottom. That's basically also the case when it comes to the peak. I keep selling in smaller steps all the way to the top price. This has been helping me a lot at the time heavy peaks and dumps were popping up. That's why you should never buy or sell with everything you have at once. If the price happens to go up or down even more, you won't be able to get the most out of your money/coins.

bitcoin is really a good investment as it can give us a good profit only for holding it, as people are expecting that the price is going to raise too high in next few months therefore it will be really a good investment.
you are right that bitcoin is good investment i also getting a big profit from bitcoin every week because bitcoin increasing it price too much faster day by day and i think bitcoin is much more profitable and useful currency in the world.
i agree with you that bitcoin is really a great investment and i also investing my money in high amount in bitcoin because bitcoin is profitable currency and i think we can a good profit only from bitcoin so bitcoin is much more good and profitable currency for us.

Yes that's a great investment because there are a lot of opportunities you can do with it, by just simply buying bitcoins and holding it for a long time then that's effortless and that will give you decent profit in the end when the price is going to increase further. And the many bitcoins you are going to hold, the higher profit you will get.
Some have gain success in doing it so it should be working for any investor as long as we have the right patience and the right capital needed to invest using the method, long term and short term investment will work as long as bitcoin price will continue to rise.

Yes, like those people who doesn't know that bitcoin will be gone too far now but they are one of the early adopters and buyers of bitcoin. They are now one of the richest people in the world because of bitcoin for having thousands of bitcoins and they just hold it for a long time. And now they are very happy to see the result of their patience and investment.
Many people are already rich in bitcoin and they are started a business with bitcoin that they are already get a large opportunity and benefits of price increase we are still in early stage even we are late and never experience the 1k value last 2013 but it is not too late we are in stage that the price is gradually the price is increase and i hope this coming year the price can touch again back to 1k value..

Bitcoin was a good investment when it launched and it will remain a good investment for ever. I accumulated most of my bitcoins when it was prices at $450, so I am sitting on a huge profit now just by storing the bitcoins. I have not invested majority of my bitcoins anywhere. I started investing in trading and p2p loans, but since p2p loans was not trust worthy, I stopped it.

I am only trading with my bitcoin and receiving amazing profit out of it. So for me, bitcoin will always remain a good investment for me. I will try to accumulate as much as possible before I retire from my day job.
For most Bitcoin was a good investment so far, but the big question is if it will be in the future. It seems you make some money with trading. What do you trade? Bitcoin/Altcoin or Bitcoin/Somethingelse? Why do you think this will be still possible in the future?

Even if Bitcoin price stabilizes in the long term at $700-800 per Bitcoin, it will still remain a profitable investment just because its volatility will always remain higher that the volatility of currencies in which Bitcoin price is often denominated. Bitcoin market cap is tiny when compared with these currencies, so it seems to be the only possible way in which Bitcoin price can behave. And if some fiat currency collapses eventually, that will cause Bitcoin to rise more.

Bitcoin is a good investment right now because its price is really good compare to its price this last months.

You're right with saying that the price has increased, but that just means that Bitcoin was a fantastic investment months ago as the price has gone up nicely till where we are sitting at currently. Right now it's a 50/50 situation where I personally wouldn't want to step into the market at current prices. Right now it's good to either keep holding, secure profits, or to simply wait till the price drops to enter the market.

When the price starts to fall, it may be too dangerous to start catching falling knives. It is nice to enter the market at the bottom, but we never know where the true bottom is, just like we don't know where the top is.
