This thread is going on and on, fanboy bitcoiners are never tired of repeating how better Bitcoin is while we all know that a business based in local offices and cash payments on site is impossible to maintain. And lately with all the confirmations delays and doubts around the blockchain size to me is pretty clear why WU still is number one.
Again, if you think Bitcoin is far superior, just go and open a competitor company. Go buy some offices and expose yourself to money exchanges fluctuations and all sorts of hazards.

Yes bitcoin is better than western union when it comes in other things. We got a lower transaction fee and you can remain anonymous. But you will still use Western union, they are one option to convert your btc into fiat. Still the same or even Western is more ahead of popularity in overseas workers.
we can exchange bitcoin to fiat money with other mathods also. we don't depends on only westren union. we can directly exchange them. we can use paypal also which is connected to our bank account. we can trade bitcoin to fiat. there are lots of method for bitcoins. I was using only WU in the past for online transfers but after getting into bitcoins I was much sure that there is something better then WU which is going to be the future.

Everyone in this forum might be a user of western union in the past. Now bitcoin has took the place of western union in few users but it has not won all minds. The reason for this is bitcoin can be used only by users having atleast little knowledge in technology but Western Union has been used even by normal users.

Western union is far too expensive and a pain especially with all the verification process. I believe Bitcoin should and will take a lot fo business away from WU because of the cost involved and the time delay and verification which is all more cumbersome with WU but you haven't these problems with Bitcoin at all.
Maybe in the future western union will also adopt bitcoin because bitcoin will be a threat to them when it comes to sending money and people who know bitcoin will say to their family that i will not be using western union any more and will move to bitcoin.

Bitcoin is not anonymous. Why people thinks this way, really read about it on forums or just type in google about bitcoin anonymity. It's not true bruh....
Of course bitcoin is superior. Not only that western union operates on the fiat currency system, it carries large fees as demonstrated in OP(and they're proud of overcharging?!?!). Bitcoin can be used anywhere to send value to anyone anywhere. Unlike WU, you need to go to their office...

great think I agree with you now bitcoin have many different types of service for customer and very cheap service according to other western union bitcoin is better than western union because when use bitcoin that time transaction is very low and when customer sen money in world that time is no need third person but when use western union that time feel tried transaction fees costly and when you send money in world that time need third person
