The cost of expensive bitcoin transactions is influenced by the bitcoin price itself, the factor of the number of users who send bitcoin also affects transaction costs. Bitcoin is not suitable for small amounts of payment. if we say bitcoin like a diamond, will you buy a plate of food using a diamond?

We cannot pay our members payouts via Bitcoin anymore, this is completely impossible.
We sent payments ranging $1 - $10 with fees of $2 - $6 already 5 days ago and these payments are unconfirmed.

We are going to change our approach and be among the first businesses that pay in Bitcoin Cash and stop paying in Bitcoin.
It's just impossible to work with Bitcoin anymore.

Are you guys wondering why people move to Bitcoin Cash? It's not only because of speculation, it's because Bitcoin in its current form is a dead zombie walking in Crypto land.

Bitcoin cash is a trashy coin, ethereum is a lot better than this copycat, ethereum has a solid platform and community which bitcoin cash doesnt have.Ethereum would repalce bitcoin if BTC will come to its end.

While it may be true that bitcoin is indeed facing some scaling issues currently, I see no reason why a buggy Bitcoin Cash would replace it as a payment system when there are many other altcoins next in-line such as Eth or even Ripple.

I do not think bitcoincash is the right option for micropayments. In my opinion i would use xrp ripple for micropayments. The transactions are very cheap and super fast. Also it is a major and very stable altcoin. So the risk of loosing value during the transaction is very small.
Yes, you can use almost any altcoin, the choice is very wide. You can use for example litecoin or ethereum. I do not like ripple because banks control this crypto currency.

Yes, it is true that small payments of BItcoin has a transaction fee much larger than the transaction costs. I'm  using Bitcoin in a large transaction only so that I will not feel the large transaction fees. I am also thinking that due to rise of Bitcoin value that is why they are charging us of high transaction fees.

Bitcoin certainly is not suitable for small transactions, but you can keep your investments in it. I think that soon more promising coins will come to replace bitcoin, bitcoin will of course remain, but I think he will go to the background, most importantly bitcoin played a role he helped many people to believe in the crypt
That seems unlikely, it may happen of course but the development of bitcoin continues and the developers are doing everything they can to maintain bitcoin relevant besides any coin based on the blockchain is going to have the same troubles as bitcoin so a new coin with new technology will have to appear to change this and I do not see any coin ready to do that.

In my opinion, commissioning the ightning network will give a new burst of power to bitcoin. Instant payments without commission mean a lot in the modern world.  Wink

I told many time in forum and I'm going to remind again.

Bitcoin: Gold like investment asset/tool
Bitcoin Cash: Payment tool/currency.

Please accept this reality. It doesn't decrease BTC's value or historical development. Embrace the sensible way.

LTC might be a better option?

Low price and no-fee txns?

Faster and gaining traction among online commerce and payments.
Litecoin is indeed sort of a better version of Bitcoin.
By the way talking about Bitcoin Cash, the community is ready to increase the block size to 32 MB last time I checked, don't think it was necessary yet, wonder if this was to manipulate the price, we'll know more about this news soon.

Yes, indeed, during the peak loads for bitcoins, the transfer fee is unreasonably high. Use bitcoin as a payment tool is unbearable. Many of my friends no longer make payments through bitcoin.
You and your frinds are not alone who thinks so. The payment operator Stripe announced that it will leave bitcoin within the next three months and completely abandon it on April 23. A long time of transaction processing, an increase in the number of unsuccessful transactions and growing charges made bitcoin less in demand among Stripe users.

I do not think that bitcoin will die and bitcoin cache completely replace it. I think the ether will soon be the leader, and bitcoin cache will be the younger brother of bitcoin.

Yes, definitely bitcoin has flaws. These shortcomings have become noticeable in the periudes of a high load on the bitcoin network. If no serious changes occur in bitcoin, then in the future we will lose bitcoin.

Yes there are some flaws in bitcoin which is been getting unwanted attentions like higher transaction charges and all but on the other hand we have crypto currencies with zero transaction fees and better features so there is a lot which has to be changed if bitcoin wants to remain leader of crypto world.
Yes, changes are necessary to bitcoin. Without modernization, this coin will soon be useless to anyone.  Wink
