Bitcoin is like a gold you need to hold it long term so you'll earn your rewards and buy your lambos soon. As long as we are holding one alts then we will be rich in the future, Early adopter will always win. Just wait for another 6-12 months or more.
Bitcoin and gold are great for long term investment but the different is on their profit.
Bitcoin's profit grow more than gold's in 1 year term it means that bitcoin more profitable than gold but the risk for bitcoin trading is high enough because it's value depend on supply and demand
Of course bitcoin is for long term unless you are interested in insomnia and headache, I think buying bitcoin for short term is stressful and makes people aged, I'm not fan of short term trading.

Most people complains about their loss on the price drop, I got loss too, but you will be broke when you sell it on a low price. If people would be patient to wait a bit more then all would be good. Who else make millions on just a week ? None. Im saying this not just to promote holding but also encourage all those crypto users be patient and be calm on the price drop. Youre still not loss until you sell it on low price. Hold it for a while, if you are weary and try investing on others like ICOs until you almost forget it and go back when it pumps again. Nobody know when would it be increased but it would. Be strong people.
Nice post OP I can feel your sincere comment and not just to create new thread. Most of the people complaining on losses bitcoin are those day trader who are lack of knowledge on trading. Some people still don’t understand that to be able to become successful you need to become patient on the market movement. If you notice no long term holder ever complain in the price dip instead they are happy because they can cost average and grab the opportunity of lower price of BTC. Cryptocurrency works best in long term hold and graph history will prove that. If you react too quickly poor decisions might arise.
So many people complaining but where we can complaint? No where because all should know the risk involve with their decision. So please be aware regarding the risk involve and never think invest in bitcoin will be always win. Trading bitcoin most probably for long term but sometime we can have the advantage to use it for day trade and its specially for experiemce trader and not for newbie.
I dont agree. So years ago, i would agree with this statement. When bitcoin started first 9 yeas ago, it was a long term investment. And the people who hold their coins that long become now all rich. But nowadays, i would say bitcoin is much better for day trading. Because its almost so valuable, and i dont thinkt that it will rise the same times how it rises the last 9 years. Otherwise one bitcoin would be over a billion, and thats really unrealistic

yes you are right bitcoin is currently a long term investment that can give you a lot of profit because the total supply of bitcoin is very limited but has a very high demand that makes the price will be very expensive.

I hope you are wrong, Bitcoin is a long-term investment, most of the people are investing in Bitcoin only for long term. I hope apart from others coins bitcoin is always good for longterm investment.

Indeed, bitcoin was good at long term investment because as you can see way back 2009, bitcoin was almost priceless but then look to its price now. Hence, as long as bitcoin has now cheap price and at dump stage you should buy so that in the future you will have a huge income. Actually, as the time I started in this cryptocommunity bitcoin had only $700 and that makes me sad because I didn't take the opportunity.
I think bitcoin is also for short term because of it's volatility there's a $20-$45 movement per second in the market and that can give you alot of profit and gains.
