I don't think so, Bitcoin may be having its down trend but hey its just the start of the year. Based on historical data, I am quite positive that Bitcoin will have its uptrend in the coming months, so let's just all be patient and don not panic. Smiley

I think that the drop is not that dangerous and I bet that this thing is so natural and normal for bitcoin. So we don't have anything to worry about guys. We just need to hodl and buy more bitcoins! It might go dip in 7k USD. And yes it is possible Smiley. And just hodl for months, and we can see bitcoin flying!

TRADINGEthereum and Bitcoin appear to be separating. ETH is in a 14-day uptrend while BTC is still in a 25-day downtrend.

I suppose it is still normal correction. It was too big BTC pump in last few months so this correction is ok. It is good time to start buy BTC

I think it's normal. I have read a lot of articles before engaging myself to bitcoin. There are couple of down lows and highs when it comes to bitcoin.

The Еthereum feels well after the news that some reputable agency has assigned it a higher buy rating than Bitcoin. Try to find some news about it in Google if you're interested.
Thank you for information. Do you trust these agencies?

Bitcoin is fighting a fight of a lifetime survival. It will not die though nor will it be defeated but it could sustain serious injuries.  The injury will heal in time.

Some factors end up being counterproductive to the principles underpinning cryptocurrency which are to eliminate the power that banks have over money. Banking fees and centralised waiting times are part and parcel of the irritation that comes from another entity being in control of one's money. Bitcoin is increasingly picking up these bad habits, leaving its users with a feeling of freedom harking back to the days when banks held a monopoly over monetary services, but soon regain its strength.

25days downtrend of bitcoin is not be considered that bitcoin is in danger, at this current situation, bitcoin is suffering a long run correction which is the very first time to has. but I believe bitcoin can recover and surly will back again to normal. theres nothing to worry about this situation, I suggest you to don't panic and don't sell you bitcoin because sooner or later it will back to normal. just wait and let the correction happens.

Funny how other members of bitcoin forum describing the scenario of bitcoin decreases solely by emotions and biases.. I’m not one of those who will leave bitcoin and sold my holdings for just like some panicking noobs who are to weak and impatient.. Hope those will find they’re dose of medicine after an increases that might happen soon and regret for being so ignorant about the history of this coins and just looking for its prices..

Thats unfortunate everyone knew eth will be 1000$ one day but bitcoin has had a rough start , i dont think it will easy for bitcoin to recover we see many companies accepting altcoins and replacing bitcoin if this stops or maybe like the amazon rumour does become true there is hope fot bitcoin
Most likely your statement is not good and I think that's what you know about altcoin and bitcoin and I'm sure bitcoin will not always match up with altcoin even bitcoin prices continue to rise today.

I think the reason ethereum price do not go down is because of the numerous smart contract. The by-product of most of those altcoins is ethereum and during ICO people have to buy etheruem in order to use it and participate in the ICO.

While there may be a uptrend in ethereum it is hard to establish why? Do some see it as a next generation of bitcoin. I think that it is strange as there is no limit to ethereum as far as I know it is infinite. I'm sure many are taking the approach that you can probably make for from ethereum if it follows the same upwards trend of bitcoin.

All altcoins are there to accumulate to an excessive capitalization of bitcoin. Very soon we will see the reverse situation. Capital required to start its movement in the direction of bitcoin. It always was and will be. You only need to wait a bit.

TRADINGEthereum and Bitcoin appear to be separating. ETH is in a 14-day uptrend while BTC is still in a 25-day downtrend.

This is common as most of them are now using eth for transaction but they cannot see that eth is in big problem with same network issue within some days btc will start pumping the price

That’s a good observation and somehow the down trend is more down today. I’m reading all over the forum that Indian government has started some sort of ban. It’s not complete ban yet because the news also says that they will be looking after the implementation of the blockchain and thus its kind confusing news or update. This led to more downward moment of the bitcoin.

I think what happening is bad news all over the globe making the non sense news and creating fear in the people. That’s why bitcoin being primary currency is getting lowered in the market. Hopefully this trend will be broken soon and we will see the up surge.  Wink
