bitcoin is the main crypto, and almost all crypto players know it and hold bitcoin, and bitcoin is not a new coin that needs to be promoted, beginners can get bitcoin in many ways, there are many faucets that pay with bitcoin or can join cryptotalk.
The way that newbies to be engaged in cryptocurrency especially bitcoin is not the faucets available, but the adoption they can use through utilizing bitcoin in daily transactions. If newbies will just rely on faucets, no volume will be profitable, but if they will think about buying bitcoin in exchanges, it will induce market demand and eventually lead the bitcoin market price to increase. Thus, making them involved in serious bitcoin activities.

You should become familiar with this kind of marketing strategy, If you only rely on the statement of the owner of BCH, He only told you the advantages. He won't tell you about the advantages of the other Altcoins because he only cares about he's Coins. He always sugar-coated he's words. For you to know which coins we really adopt, we need to study all of the potential coins. In that way, you will never be stuck on Roger's sugar-coated words. you will know how to distinguish the real potential coins from the hype ones.

Well, Ver is an avid fan and a holder of bch. Giving away $5 to his followers with a positive mind that will cost big in the future is such a kind gesture and an optimistic approach of being a crypto enthusiast. If his followers who don't have an idea about bch coin will now an urge to do the first step- to learn more about cryptocurrency. And that's a good step for adoption.

Why don't we have people doing this for btc adoption. This would encourage newbies like us. https://www.cryptoinfowatch.com/roger-ver-gives-away-free-bitcoin-cash-believes-it-would-be-worth-5000-in-future/

You are really a newbie in this crypto sphere, I hope you know that difference between BTC and Bitcoin Cash. You mean you are going to be encourage because of incentives? Why don't you look then at BTC as one of the best speculative asset then? And who would give you BTC? Everyone here works very hard to earn even a Satoshi and it's pretty obvious that Roger Ver is doing this because he is losing grip because we all know that Bitcoin Cash in not BTC, but rather another altcoin.

At first do you know who are customers of such "promotions"? Mostly kids. I highly doubt any person with job and etc will waste time to get Roger's 1$. That giveaway is far from adoption and that means nothing, if he wanted to do something at least, he could do something similar of blockchain.com's 25$ stellar giveaway. But if we ask him, he give away 5000$ in reality instead of 5$ but it's another task how that happens by his logic, why will BCH rise that much. I see better hope in other altcoins like monero, ethereum, grin and etc rather than bch.

It's different with Bitcoin Cash, they have a very malicious advertising, and his entire company and everything he does is to shill for his own coin (just look at buy.bitcoin.com, they literally try and trick people into buying Bitcoin Cash).

Him giving away bitcoin cash, and the entire reason he gave bitcoin holders free BCASH, was in order to get people to use more off it, and it's pretty obvious to everyone that bitcoin doesn't need to do the same thing.

Have not heard any news about this cryptocurrency before. Now this. This is an old timer hype trick. I don't think this will him so much attention. He needs more partnerships and new Ideas to sell his cryptocurrency. Unformated to those who invested in this country because it plummeted too deep because of bear market. I don't buy Bitcoin cash because i know it's dead from the very beginning.

It's different with bitcoin. A lot of airdrops and other projects are able to give away insane amounts of crypto currencies because they aren't worth a lot of money (and because their tokens are worthless).

Bitcoin doesn't need to do this, because it obviously already has value and there is just no need for such a thing, especially when it's received so much media attention.

Bitcoin cash/Roger Ver has likely just done this for free media attention, and it fits him well

Bitcoin Cash is like a bad and fake copy of Bitcoin. I don't believe that Bitcoin Cash will be valuable too much in the future. It could even be erased from the cryptocurrency market I think.

It seems to me that Roger Ver is trying to create a hype for Bitcoin Cash by doing such thing. He is doing it to attract more people to the crypto that he invests in. I don't think this will attract too many people for this some kind of campaign of him.
Yes he does, since he was the creator of the said token in the first place.

How much do you know he have been holding right now? I don't know either but this tricky little tactics is a very common moves for every telemarketer. I'm afraid to tell you the truth but somehow it is quite effective when handing out some bonuses just to get a lot of people to do your jobs. Wink

Giving away free money does not mean that people will come to the project uniquely. After the said giveaway stunt was done, I'm pretty sure those who received some will cash it out and further crash the market, or would be interested in a short while and be done with it. Bitcoin doesn't need that. It flourished in itself and with the community genuinely backing it every step of the way. Also, people found out that bitcoin can be used in many things, that's why most of them stayed all throughout and are still here.

If your coin/project is unique and is genuinely applicable to some aspects of the economy, it will flourish and develop naturally without the crazy antics such as giving it away Grin

Because we are past those days, I was not around to see those days but when bitcoin was really cheap it was not rare for people to give away full bitcoins just because, there were even faucets that gave full bitcoins instead of the dust they give today, but now bitcoin has been adopted by millions of people around the world and it has a value above 9k, you cannot really expect that a random person is going to give away so much money, only the whales can do that and they are not getting rid of their bitcoin they are accumulating it.

Roger Ver are giving it away for free, because he now realize that his trickery are exposed to scam people into believing that Bitcoin Cash was the

real Bitcoin. A lot more people can now spot the difference between a shitcoin ((BCash)) and the real Bitcoin, which is Bitcoin ((BTC)). It is

all a marketing gimmick to pull more people into his spider web of lies. He is hoping that if he could give enough BCash to people, that it would get

some traction again and that people would start buying and trading it again.  Grin Grin Grin

Bitcoin Cash will soon die and "bleed to death" in the market especially once Bitcoin gets into the price discovery mode. To me it is obvious that Roger Ver is giving away Bcash 'cause he just want to create more awareness to a shitcoin. I don't give a dime on that, in fact I think he knows it's crypto is garbage, so he wants to get any pump he can squeeze from the market.

Roger ver is the one who will benefit from the hype he created for his coin, we already have a lot of faucets for Bitcoin, and besides Bitcoin also started that give away when it is just starting out, we also have a lot of freelances that gives Bitcoin, one example is Cryptotalk, but if there's an organization or an individual that will do that, that will be better and will benefit the adoption.

Bitcoin is so decentralized and so popular that I don't think we need anymore effort just to promote bitcoin like Roger Ver is doing for bitcoincash. There are many faucets for bitcoins and many services that accepts bitcoins. There are many bitcoin oriented companies that are having a profit with the use and exchange of bitcoin, they would naturally promote it to increase there revenue. The remaining bitcoin community just needs to held together and mover forward together for bitcoin to succeed.
