I'm so sorry I can't agree with you because I don't have any experience taking heroin or any illegal drugs I don't know how it feels but I know what addiction feels like. I do agree that bitcoin captures our interest and becomes part of our daily habit so yes, it's addictive in a positive way

Yes it creates addiction because its simplicity, easy to use, etc, unlike heroin or other drugs, addictive because it binds you.

Just like heroin or crack cocaine, it creates an addiction.

Same as was gambling

Many in here seem to have been caught up in it, spending far too much of their money on something. Partially to get the dopamine rush of buying more coin, and partially to satisfy their gambling lust hoping to score big.

It is no different than the people gambling their savings away on the roulette. Right now we are at the point where they have entered the casino and have been lucky, so they are up more money than they came. But instead of quitting while they are ahead they genuinely believe that their luck continues.

In the end it ends bad.

Yes you re right! bitcoin makes addiction to a people but in a good and a best way unlike drugs and gambling money that only give you a big headache and can destroy your entire life. It is an addictions that can change situations in your life and gives new opportunity to other people.

Bitcoin is different from heroin. People who join in bitcoin will work hard to achieve their life goals. Unlike heroin, people who use heroin will be addicted to negative things. Heroin will only worsen the life of the wearer.

LOL.... iam even surprised that even some members agreeing with you .... iam sorry but this is so not true. bitcoin is not like an herion (herion is an addiction that will eventually kill you ) how can you compare an innovative evolving technology that will affect and change our entire financial system forever to something like herion!!! bitcoin is service that we offer to people to keep their safe to make transactions without the need of the middle man (banks) and the of course the anonymity wish no one can find out who you are unless they dig really hard to find out you are completely wrong about what you are thinking and you feel that way towards bitcoin you better get out now

I do not agree with the fact that like cocaine or heroin bitcoin generates addiction. Bitcoin does not produce addiction, it is more a hobby than a dependence. Bitcoin, by contrast, provides financial freedom, not dependence. Like every hobby, bitkoyn can be called a game, but not gambling. Here you need a cold calculation and a sober mind to successfully deal with the crypto currency. Who will approach bitokoyu as a gamble, he will definitely lose.

I agree with you Bitcoin attracts people like heroin with a positive meaning. This is the due to of the fact that Bitcoin has own value for the economy. It is not a gamble.

It depends on person. Some people use to say that ciggarettes for them equal to heroin because they cant quit. Excuse me but they are just weak people. Same situation here, someone who has not strong life basis tends to be addicted to anything helps him to escape real problems. I dont mean I am strong, but my situation is different

Well I agree with the addiction part. Making money is addictive because it will give you the ability to buy your needs and wants. You get the feeling of looking forward to receive the income from your hard work using bitcoin. The most interesting part of this addiction is that there are ways on how you can earn it for free and because it is free, patience and determination is only your investment.

this topic is kinda stupid, how can you paragonate bitcoin and heroine? You did for real?

how can you say that this topic is stupid? op is only saying  that bitcoin is like heroine because it creates an addiction to him just like drugs and i think there is nothing wrong about that though  majority of people including me are also experiencing the same problem as op does because we cant even sleep or eat properly due to so much addiction to this crypto thing.
Well i believe  that bitcoin cannot be considered as heroin or like a heroin as well.bitoin is really different from bitcoin in terms of impact to the society heroin is really  a prohibited drugs that can really harm to the life  of individuals. While bitcoin is really a great big opportunity for everyone that can really make anyone gain a huge profit that is why bitcoin is not really considerable as a heroin or any kinds of prohibited drugs because the difference bitween the two is really big.

In the end it ends bad?NO absolutely not, just like heroin you can be addicted but if you know what to do before it kills you well i might say thats the better move,.for me I'd rather put my self in rehabilitation before worst thing happens.thats how a do in my bitcoin career i am addicted to him but i make sure my rehabilitation is ready in time when it needed.so theres a difference between bitcoin and heroin its on whos involve and how would he carry the situation

Bitcoin is nothing like heroin. Here is a quick summary of what opiate addiction is like:
Desperately wanting to stop, but knowing that the drug has a complete hold on you.  Swearing to yourself every time you shoot up that it will be the last time, but once the dope sickness starts creeping up, you go out and do another bag to push those withdrawals back a couple of hours.  This endless cycle of promising never to do it again, getting dope sick, doing “one” just to feel better, then saying “fuck it” and doing a whole bundle, continues until you’re completely out of money, then you start stealing from people you care about to buy more, the stealing from friends, neighbors, businesses, going to the pawn shop 2-3 times per day, hoping to get at least $10 so you can get well for a couple hours.  Not eating, because the money you spend on food is just money that you can’t spend on dope, and you’re not going to be hungry anyway after a couple bags.  Slowly, your list of “I’ll-Never”s gets shorter and shorter until you would do literally anything to get your hands on one more bag; shit you never would have thought of doing before that first time you picked up.  All the while, the good person inside of you is screaming for you to stop, but you lost all control over your addiction a long time ago, and the only way you can think of to stop the battle inside your head, and the awful feeling and panic of withdrawal that constantly haunts you, is to kill yourself, and knowing that every bag you shoot might be that bag that causes you to OD, but not giving a fuck, because your life is already over.

I hope to god that bitcoin hasn’t affected anyone on here to that extent.
