I really agree with agan, if we already know bitcoin then we will continue to seek profit, and will not recognize the time spent just for a bitcoin.

Just like heroin or crack cocaine, it creates an addiction.

Same as was gambling

Many in here seem to have been caught up in it, spending far too much of their money on something. Partially to get the dopamine rush of buying more coin, and partially to satisfy their gambling lust hoping to score big.

It is no different than the people gambling their savings away on the roulette. Right now we are at the point where they have entered the casino and have been lucky, so they are up more money than they came. But instead of quitting while they are ahead they genuinely believe that their luck continues.

In the end it ends bad.
Yes it is true, we just need to believe in ourselves in order to win this currency we can compare it in real life if you don't believe you will never get what you wanted but if you insist in yourself that you will will it may happen, so do not forget to believe no matter what happen, and also if you know how thanks someone or know how to gratitude there are so many luck will come into you life, opportunities and so on.

I think what you say is wrong. addicted to heroin or gambling different from crypto. you must have knowledge and of course plan and experience. very different from gambling and heroin. this is a wrong thought, when you invest money in something you will expect in return for a profit. and when you gamble almost 90% you have lost. as well as with heroin, you will spend money in vain.

Hehe, yeah. Maybe for some people addicted to equate smoothly between drugs and investment. Maybe from the side of drug users by using drugs we hope to get the peace. So also with the investment we hope to get a profit. But of course I would agree if it is different. Thank you

man, you need to stay off that shit famlay.  Cheesy heroin is heroin, bitcoin has no part of that story LOL. tell Middle America otherwise  Wink

you cant put this on bitcoin one bit. i will allow you that bitcoin may facilitate some poor habits (its really easy to gamble with bitcoin, and people are more likely to spend bitcoin on something that they would not have purchased otherwise with fiat). but what you are describing is a psychological condition that doesnt really have anything to do with bitcoin. gamblers are gamblers, if its crypto, fiat, whatever. sometimes thats rolling the dice a few times, or spinning the wheel; it could manifest as trader a that takes too much risk on leverage.

but despite how it rears its head, its an addiction to thrill seeking/risk taking behavior, not cryptos.

unless you want to call greed an addiction.

You got it all wrong those type of drugs only do damage to your organism, while if bitcoin is done correctly it will only be beneficial for you, you are reading too much into this, bitcoin is just a currency, I do not get any kind of thrill by holding bitcoin at all.
If anything bitcoin should be compared to is gambling, having bitcoin and saving it is like gambling because you always want to keep saving and keep on greeding each time you see the price of the bitcoin going up, and always there is just a bit more, until some day the price might fall and lose, the addiction that is tied to bitcoin is nothing compared to the addiction of gambling or drugs because, you are not hurting anyone or you are not losing anything, it is just there if you are lucky you will get more profit as long as you have it.

I can't see any similarity between something that is changing people's lives for better and drugs that destroy people's lives and don't give them any real benefit. Drugs are one of the most deep problems in society and in people's lives, I don't even compare this kind of thing with drinks addiction, because it's different. Money "addicteds" are ambitious, envious and unscrupulous without being under effect of any substance (what is the case of drugs addicted).

This addiction can make you rich. Totally different from getting addicted to any illegal substance out there. There's no ROI in drugs, unless you're a dealer which is extremely hazardous to you and your clients. Bitcoin trading is not about pure luck or a game of chance like gambling in a casino. It is based on calculated risks.

Yes, it makes you an addict, a fan, the person, who wants to learn  about it more and more, get it, mine for it, trade, invest…But I will never compare it with any drugs as drugs ruin health and bring a man to death, while BTC brings you to wealth.

Indeed Bitcoin is like Heroin since they are both addictive. Heroin & other drugs are purposely for medication, that' s the positive side. But people used it abusively for personal pleasure and purposes which led their body & mind to react differently when they are high on drugs. And it will be hard for them to get out from that situation. Bitcoin as well is like drugs, once you are earning higher and higher, the more you want to get more and more than what you need.

I do not feel addicted to bitcoin. Because I still have logic and thoughts that are not excessive to have something. I do want the advantages of bitcoin, but I'm not really chasing lust.
