What's wrong with wanting to be rich. Who doesn't want that. The real problem is that everybody wants it in a very short time and without any effort. Bitcoin isn't a lottery ticket. However, it is an investment tool for now and a currency that will be widely used in the future.

The OP has a good point Bitcoin is something about taking our freedom back from the government and the centralized banking system but and yes Bitcoin was made for the very reason to get freedom and privacy from the government and the banking system but it is the very nature of humans to fall for greed and at last we all are humans and very less tend to not fall in the trap of greed.

Some new people just want to give a big shoutout to every other investor by speculating prices will go up so then new investors can hear from this and start investing even more.

Meaning buying more bitcoins which is equal to price growing and rising way further.

That's the main principle of why people start speculating such prices.

Other times it's based on some factual news which are proven to be true and might eventually change Bitcoin's market cap thus making it grow in terms of price.

Agree, it's so sad for them to buy at the peak. Especially those people that bought at the peak. Especially, again for those people that bought many bitcoins. That's a common mistake for a newbie. It's their fault for not knowing that :/.   

Well people who had that "get rich fast" Attitude got a pretty good lesson last time a bull run happened. Ask those people that bought in around 15 to 19k usd last 2017. They probably sold at a big loss and had their hopes dashed.

Having a bitcoin or cryptocurrency account somehow gave me a feeling of freedom. I dont know that being anonymous sometimes gave you that large space to move specially for having trancsactions. You feel free for people who want to rob you, for buying things (legal ofcourse) without any fiat on hand and getting profit from stocked coins. Its not all about just how to be rich but how to make your life more efficient and effective.

I believe that bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are about progress and evolution besides privacy and freedom aka decentralization. Speculators are welcomed  as this is a free market but the real "winners" will be the ones who actually contribute to the adoption and understand the technology and infrastructure.

Every people are not aware that crypto need some time to being famous.

Decentralized transaction is something new yet useful for future purpose as we can see the fact that bitcoin value continue to increase from time to time.

Not everyone is into bitcoins coz of idealism. Yes, I think that bitcoin can be a superior substitute for fiat but how long would I have to wait for that to happen?

I also don't think rooting for bitcoin's success and trying to make a profit out of it is mutually exclusive. Say you invested a lot in the early days and during ath decided to sell them all off. Is that wrong? Not necessarily, you could have used the fiat to establish a business and then buy back some bitcoins.

Economic freedom is political freedom. One shouldn't shy away from making a profit so long as it is legal and moral.

I agree. We are here in this world to survive and that depends on how we work for it. Some people get into Bitcoin for a reason and we all know that. I am here because I want to use Bitcoin as payment method and at the same time I hodl Bitcoin for investment purposes because we will never know when will be emergencies be happening.  Getting rich that fast with Bitcoin is not gonna work instantly we still need time to have it.

Right.We are all here for profits because we obviously believe in the potentials of bitcoin.But along with it is the hope that bitcoin will be fully accepted in all countries.Bitcoin is a currency but since most countries are still not using it,so i think it's never a bad idea to make it a good investment which will definitely change our individual's economy into a better one.

Exactly, bitcoin is a place that provides many activities to create a lot of profits for participants but the activities here are not easy, all have certain risks and dangers, even these risks can push our assets to zero, so every step and every time we engage in activities is a carefulness, and always comes with care, that is patience. And when we talk about patience, it will be about waiting time, that means that bitcoin is not a way to get rich quick, it always needs time, and the factor not only depends on bitcoin, it depends on luck and the capacity of participants.

I don't know why some people think about bitcoin as an investment scheme and that is one of the reasons why they were getting fooled by the people in the industry. Bitcoin isn't about getting rich, it's a currency where you will be able to access as an asset but the thing is, there are times that the prices are volatile and it is a new technology to try.

Bitcoin is like gold, where miners can produce by mining the blocks. And people can invest their money through it, but the thing is that gold has a physical object and bitcoin is fully digital.

Its true, most are users are investors, so I'm not surprised if most users think so. is there something wrong if the user thinks that bitcoin is a way to rich in instant? I think it doesn't matter to be an encouragement for each user to work!

Thats the sad reality mate,many people here mostly are for profit because all they know about cryptocurrency is investments and not as virtual currency

We can only count in fingers those people here that willing to learn about how beneficial bitcoin is,though we cannot blame them as the mass adoptof bitcoin is still on process and we need to wait longer for this to become reality

all news channels talk about the price, there are analysts to do price analysis, there are investors who care about profits and there are technology lovers who care about technology, there is space for all and no one of these actors is better than the other, each one is contributing to bitcoin becoming more popular, more used and accepted by governments and banks


well, I think their intention is not just to get rich quick, they say it with the intention that the more bitcoin value have, the more it will be valued


unfortunately this is something that hardly anyone will have 100%. look, exchange is demanding KYC, there will come a day that this market will be fully regulated and wallets will be required to demand KYC.


then you must found a political party and candidates for presidential elections and when you are president, you can give your people freedom and reduce the power of the banks


Hmmm... if governments would all join together to fight against bitcoin, obviously today would be a very small number of people who would be using bitcoin, if people want to have more freedom, then they should know how to choose good leaders in their country so that have a government that gives them greater freedoms and rights respected


the only culprit is people who keep voting on corrupt politicians and no ideas on how to govern a country well.

of course, price is an important part that must be a priority, but, some people only focus on thinking about prices, and forget about other elements, such as adoption, legality, distribution, use for transactions, security, convenience and simplicity.

I agree with you, BTC is unpredictable and can't create us get rich quickly. but in the world of BTC getting rich quickly is something that can happen.

Bitcoin is a way to get rich, but not with fast because there is no fast way to get rich even if you do a crime.
Bitcoin is offered to you to get wealthy by doing many things including trading and in trading, we have an opportunity to earn much of bitcoin and our income will be unlimited. But of course, there is something we need to have if we want to earn much money from trading and it's not easy, and we need always to learn to do that.

If you want to get rid of the getting rich fast mentality and go back to being a libertarian paradise you'll need to go back to before the first bullrun.

I agree, bitcoin was created not as an asset to make people become rich, it's a currency that will create a freedom transaction for all of us, but we still need bitcoin as an asset to trade for now, with the low adoption and low government's permit, the only way to make bitcoin to survive is by trading it, without the sufficient volume from trading the price will be fall down really hard
