The most important reason why bitcoin is hard to circulate now is intuitive, because it doesn't have intuitive currency, coins, and so on. Just a data. So it needs to be developed so that more people will know it and use it.

If we try to tell about BitCoin's nature, math or technology to people, it is complicated for average people. We should define it like as commodity, gold etc instead of telling atomic structure of it.

Well we are on a modern time today, when technologies are growing too fast. It develops as a speed of light. Others can't feel it because they don't focus on here bitcoin. For me as one of the "average people" I still know what bitcoin is. Everyone can do bitcoin even though you have money or not.

ya Bitcoin is pretty complex concept at first. Even for me taking computer subject in high school when i discovered about Bitcoin had a hard time understanding it. But with time and getting involved with it help me be familiar with. But it is still hard for me to explain it to an average people did not take computer as a subject in there school. that's a challenge !!! and I am sure the explantion about the money from banks is even more complex because they create it out of thin air. The mcafee guy said it is much harder to explain how the Federal Reserve Bank work compared to Blockchain system.
how is it a difficult concept? maybe to understand the inner workings, sure, but to use it? it's a fairly straightforward thing in my opinion, no different from using paypal. using paypal as an example, let's compare. with paypal, an online payment processor / method that is accepted by many retailers online, we have an account tied to our identities that we can use to pay for goods. with bitcoin, we have a (preferably) encrypted wallet, which we can access when needed to pay for goods for merchants that accept bitcoin as a payment method. in both cases, if we have our login info or wallet and encryption passphrase compromised, we run the risk of having our bank account (or paypal balance) or our private addresses emptied. the only real difference i see here is that paypal payments are reversible, and are more or less insured if the account were to be compromised. however, theyre not that different if you strip it down to the basics. we have money and we send it to a recipient. doesn't get much simpler as far as general use goes. not sure how it's so daunting for the average person to understand that and use it.

The Winner Stands Alone
"When you use Bank or Online banking, If you have any problem, you can actually go to branch or call the customer service fix the problem, Bitcoin have no phone number, no branch, no one to contact if anything goes wrong. "

Once I used my friend's account number to sent money to my online wallet, 2 days the money still stuck on that wallet and pending and no notificatios, I sent ticket via email with prove of bank transfer, which need two days 'till they replied, and you know what they say? Sorry you must transfered money from your real account number, to avoid moneylaundring? what the heck, the amount is below $50 and the btc rate was going up so fast, so I only have little amount of bitcoin ( what a bad day) . thats why I agree with you it's complicated for average people.

Once people understand the concept of bitcoin and how it can be stored in wallet and bought/sold on exchanges it is very simple to use btc for services. I think the initial roadblock for many people is to enter into bitcoin using FIAT currency, as the only way to buy bitcoin in some countries is to buy it from a local exchange which charges premium for the services. But once you enter into Bitcoin world, there are several options to buy/sell btc using the crypto currencies.

You are right. BTC is too complicated ( Blockchain, mining, altcoins, markets, airdrops, wallets, pools...etc)
Simple is the best.

i think if you are only learn about mining, altcoin, markets, wallets its enough because this is what we do in crypto currency. with this things, we don't have to learn too deep about bitcoin and crypto currency because it will need to spend more time to read from many source. just learn what we want and keep practicing and if we still have a time to learn then we can spend our time to learn more that we want to know and i think it is not too complicated.

For example, I'm from Canada, and i was only able to buy bitcoin from coinbase, who has limit $100 per week, they charge 3.5% transaction fee, then when you transfer bitcoin to bittrex, they hit you with another fees, which is $5 to $7, end of the day you get $90 worth of bitcoin. I tried several other sites, which has way way high fees, not sure where you guys buy the bitcoins, i couldn't find any suitable sites yet, so i can buy bitcoin with ease.

Use GDAX. It's linked up with coinbase (same company, really). If you do a market buy, there is still a fee, but it's much less. If you do a limit buy, NO FEES! The catch is you can't use your credit/debit card. You have to do a bank transfer and it takes about a week. Well worth the extra effort though with the $ saved on fees.

I believe no one will be called average people if we are all willing to learn. As far as I am using bitcoin, reading and learning from it I can see that it is not as complicated as my job outside that is why I am loving being here.

Depending on someone whether to understand and learn the bitcoin system, initially it is difficult but with good information the average people will understand it. the point is whether they want to spent the time to learn the  bitcoin system, that's all.

On the contrary, bitcoin is uncomplicated and easy-to-use even a kid can create a wallet, send or receive funds. all you have to do is to click some buttons, it is even easier then using banks services. Bitcoin is complicated when it comes to understanding how transactions are managed in the background, but regular users don't have to focus on that.

NO, it is not too difficult at all.

I think that we as community have a responsibility to explain to other part of community what block-chain is and we do not have to got in to details in order to do that. The basics in enough to make people understand.

For average Joe it is not so complicated if opponent can clearly explains things. When i talk about bitcoins to my friends first, i start with some economic approach before going to technical side of story. Later i explain market cap, prices, market, trading etc..

Well, I think it is indeed too much complicated and harder to use, you have to have knowledge about how it works on internet. You have to make an account, buy bitcoin from different sites ( which takes 5% to 7% Fees) then transfer to exchanges for trading or to use.

yes probably it maybe a puzzle, before you can have knowledge or full understanding about Bitcoin, but if you only wanted to own Bitcoin, buy it from your local and download Bitcoin wallet apps for your mobile phone, and prepare your money for payment.

How can a normal people, who usually watch youtube video, use fb or other social media, you expect him/her to know all these things? I seen people give up easily, and think it's too techy.

I believe if Bitcoin sell coins on their official website, with lower fees, such as 1% to 2%, and make  a simple wallet for people to use, more & more people would buy and use it.
What is your opinion on it? discuss..

Yes, this could help some people who doesn't have time to learn something about Bitcoin, how they could value anything they don't have knowledge.

Yes, no centralized help center online, but we have the community.

The desktop wallet are too complicated to use, it has some weird functionality, such as MEW, every time you login, you have to use key chain, or a file as your private key and password, when you get a get it doesn't not show on your account, you actually have to add custom, which is really confusing sometimes. And i always hear people ger hacked, their balanced is gone. which is really scary after all these security in your wallet? strange!

Bitcoin does not have their own official site, so lots of people visit other junk/spam/hacking site, think it is bitcoin site and can get help.
No official website, but there's a Bitcoin community was broad in range, like in here at Bitcointalk.

It's really hard to buy bitcoin in certain country, such as Canada. Yes i know you can buy from coin base, but they do not allow more than $100 bitcoin per week, and we are not allowed to sell. Lots of people other thread offered local bitcoin, but when bitcoin price is $6800, they sell it on $7800, That's $1000 extra plus 5% fees of the amount. Why people have to pay that much money extra to buy bitcoin? why don't they have an official site, where you can buy in current price?

Why most of the exchange does not allow you to buy bitcoin with USD? 99% time you have to transfer money to exchange to do trading or to buy alt coin, which is really a headache. So you tell me, all these problem, why would a normal average people, who doesn't have enough time will invest bitcoin or any other coin? This is rea reason i believe we see the market cap in crypto currency under $200 billion. If it was easy to use, for normal people it would have jump to Trillion dollar.

if people can spend there time watching television or Movies for about 2 to 3 hours or even a whole day, without complaining that they no't really understand the movie concept but enjoying it. Then they should do the same with Bitcoin, if they do understand very well about this technology, they will surely enjoy it more.

As much as it sounds like something that many Bitcoin users are afraid to admit, it's sadly the truth. There is no institution with the motif of driving potential Bitcoin users through a standarized process of using the currency, and so many people are left in the dark about its potential. Communities have come together to built nice guide through websites but scams and dubious crypto related projects still come up first when people look into crypto resources.
