Yes agree with you, money is not bad of course, it is the one who spend it.

Maybe that person who said that virtual currency is for criminal because he maybe watching too much tv and movies. And it is because that virtual currency is not governed by the government rules and regulations. People with bitcoin wallet and have funds can easily transmit and receive money without anything on it. And maybe movies link the usage of transmitting money through the use of program just like cryptocurrencies right now.

Your friend has swallowed a large dose of horse shit. People who don't like thinking see bitcoin as some sort of black market currency, and it's absolutely silly to see it (or any currency) as that. Yes, criminals use bitcoin. And terrorists, I guess. But those people also use combs and foot powder, and neither of those items gets tarnished because of the association.

yes i am agree with you. money can be use for good purposes as well as for bad, so bitcoin is also a currency, and some people will use it for good purposes and other will use it for wrong, but i think there is no fault of bitcoin in it, we cannot stop a person from using bitcoin, either he is using it for good or bad, it is the duty of the low and other to prevent the criminal from such kind of activities.

This is one side of the picture by high lighting Bitcoin only for illegal purposes by criminals. Bitcoin has vast market in remittance and made easy money transfers for good purposes by lowering dependence and cost of completing the transactions but they don't talk about this. Everything which can be helpful for criminals they will use whether it is gold,paper money or other existing material things.

Media is always like that. People who listen and believe easily are the one to blame. Like I said in my previous post, if a person really wants to know more about bitcoin, that person will seek information by themselves and media is just a part of the story.

Same principle applies also to other things other than bitcoin.

That's a very rude thing to say. How can one assume that criminals only use bitcoins?
It's like saying all those who have gold blocks are smugglers. People are so negative and cruel towards the currency and the users who trade in it and say things without even understanding the use. BTC can be misused too but it's not a criminal currency.

   We can say that criminals use bitcoins like they use everything else for their own interest. They don't care what they use, its when someone have a bad soul. Everything they use become bad over time.
   Statement that some currency can be for criminals doesn't have logic and common sense. Currency is here to make things easier for everyone, depending from one person moral currency can be used for good or bad purposes.

Seriously people, this is some heavy bias and shit. Yes, bitcoin is used in online illegal activities, everyone knows that, but that doesn't mean that the people behind or who is using bitcoins support this idea. Everyone of us is disgusted with shady shit, and would not want to take part into something like that. If someone tells you the same thing, kindly bring up a nice discussion and defend bitcoin. It is not all about drugs and illegal things. It's about the freedom of using one's money.

Bitcoin can not be blamed for all these criminal activities involved by different bad guys. It is for innovation and credit card or fiat money has been used by criminals for decades for such activities. There is lack of protection and doesn't have some legislation in this regard once we see more regulations all begin to be all right. Criminals always try to hide behind anything which can provide them shield and Bitcoin is perfect for these purposes.

He's not really to blame though for having to know bitcoin having a reputation of "criminal's currency" since the mass media would always only inform the public about the criminalities involved with bitcoins.
I too have encountered conversations like that. Worse, my parents are actually against me using bitcoin because they think I may be doing illegal things.

Feel sad for your friend since he received some misleading information of bitcoin. Your friend does have an idea about bitcoin since he stated some his own insights about that currency. What's lacking is, he is really not interested since if he really wants to know more about bitcoin, no such statement like that will be made.

Well if you want you can give him a nice study but if he's not interested then just let him have a thinking like that.
