That’s true but I think it will not be easy for bitcoin to create that kind of card since there’s no private company owning its technology. Maybe if someone make a project like this, for sure it will be big and many investors will also come in. There have been many issues that crypto or bitcoin will make a card but I have never heard or seen it in person. Indeed, this needs a lot of consideration. So far MCO and MNX have card-related projects, but I don't know for sure if the card from the platform can be used....

There are bitcoin debit card around previously but most of them stopped or postponed their services. Tenx and MCO are two projects that are looking to issue their cards.

I think it's a good idea because it's better for Bitcoin to issue a master card because it can make it easier for someone to buy something he wants. if bitcoin issues a master card then someone will be easier and faster in making transactions, therefore I am sure bitcoin will be easily accepted as a global currency.

You can carry your bitcoin to anywhere and to pay for any transaction. If they think of mastercard, they also need to establish machine for using mastercard. As they are trying to avoid this traditional payment system, why they shall consider to discover BTC mastercard?

Maybe in theory this is quite possible. But what will BTC get from this? The idea is to have decentralized currency, and that will change things radically. I also think this is not a good idea.

Agree with you mate no one controlled bitcoin that is why many people wants it, but i dont think so if bitcoin will having master card why you will continue using bitcoin if you can used your own currency to purchase anywhere. Bitcoin is virtual there is no physical thing exist to estimate the value of thia currency.

We are going to take away decentralization and anonymity if we allow Mastercard to control Bitcoin, maybe in the future, we could have this feature when there are people who can make an innovation on how to make Bitcoin part of mastercard but for now, it's no let's enjoy the beauty of decentralization and anonymity.

I don't think that Bitcoin mastercard is really necessary as it itself a gateway for payment for several transactions. You can refer bitcoin as alternative to mastercard as well.

well, in the direct sense of the master card is impossible, but there are alternative means of paying a card and replenish it with your coins, the payment system is very convenient and suitable for describing your goals

Some clarifications are needed here actually. When you say bitcoin mastercard, did you mean to say that bitcoin be under mastercard? or are you simply implying bitcoin be use in the same effect of a mastercard where it will be widely accepted for payments?

If you mean the latter, then i'm in for it as that is the end goal of bitcoin, to be widely accepted by most establishments around the world where payment transactions is seamless and easy. I think yes, this is a good boost.

But if you mean the previous, where bitcoin be under the central authority of banking entities such as mastercard, then it sounds like a bad idea really. Bitcoin gave us freedom and here we are wanting to wrap ourselves again by the financial checks and surveillance that bitcoin rid for us.

It would be great to hear more precisely what you wanted.

The reason behind initiating bitcoin is to reduce the use money controlled by a centralized authority. If they introduce mastercard, I think, the concept of decentralized network would be violated.

Bringing phone with app installed is much more easy than having card. And if it happens it will be similar to fiat, so what is the use of crypto being digital if we transfor it? We need to think about what is really the main goal of cryptocurrency for everyone to fulfill it with satisfaction.

Well mastercard has a new patent that could allow bitcoin transactions on credit cards. Mastercard introduces a patent to manage "fractional reserves of blockchain currency." ... Bitcoin bull Tom Lee says this is good news as it validates cryptocurrency as a form of transaction.
