What do you mean an AP reporter is interested in this meetup? why?
Sorry, that wasn't very clear. An AP reporter who happened to be at a trial I was attending talked to Mark Edge from Free Talk Live and myself about Bitcoin in general. We mentioned all the meetups around here but the thrust was trying to explain Bitcoin to her. She hasn't called me for follow up yet, though she did take down about three pages of notes.
Erik, Ira and I are debating if we can come. If you guys are going, Ill push harder.

Not sure if it is of any interest to you but a big conference, I planned on attending, is going to be held in Montreal on October 22 to 24 (WCIT Only happen every four years)
