It does no matter for good cause or bad cause because what matter is bitcoin are not made for bad cause, if thare some peoples who use bitcoin for bad cause then it is not the blame for bitcoin, just like peoples who make and sell knife where knife can be used in the kitchen or can be used to hurt peoples.

I'm now using bitcoin to gather funds to advance the movement I'm on.

The subject line of this thread and the post body simple doesn't match with each other. However, let me tell you that bitcoin doesn't guarantee full anonymity. Because everything is available through a public ledger called blockchain. So all your transactions are recorded in the blockchain and can be easily checked by anyone in the world. So bitcoin is not anonymous. You may want to use mixing service which will ensure some level of anonymity though.

Also my question to you is that, if you are not doing anything illegal why do you want it to be secret? If you are doing anything for a good cause, you can do it openly. It is certainly depends on the people who want to use bitcoin for the good and bad cause, but as I have mentioned before, bitcoin is not anonymous so you may not be able to hide your activities properly using bitcoin. If you want to be truly anonymous, please use some altcoins with integrated TOR network.

There are just peoples out there especially who are rich and hold status who don't want to be known especially doing something that have 2 sides supporting and opposing it.

Well, just be careful because Bitcoin is not designed to guarantee anonimity. You might be far less covert than you think.

So far bitcoin never reveal any info about its user to anybody because you don't need to register anything, user data leaked only when using bitcoin on other non bitcoin payment merchant.

It is super easy because you just download your wallet then put the addrss of your wallet to public, if you use paypal for example then you must first register at paypal with your identity data.

you have your bitcoin address in your signature and associated it with your forum profile. and also you have associated it with your project, whatever that might be.

now you are visiting bitcointalk, you are leaking your identity like it or not. even when you are using things like VPN or TOR you will be leaking information. which most people don't. so now your identity is linked with your address.

anything that you receive in that address and anything you spend it on is now linked to you.
bitcoin was never meant to be anonymous.

I'm obviously talking about bitcoin to bictoin transaction, those who want to participate don't need to worry their indetity being leaked especially if they use more than 1 point of transaction.

Actually, if the person and the receiver doesn't tell the time of the transaction then it can't be found.

It depends on the people using it, if it will be for a good cause then it is OK, But if it's been used to hurt people then there is a problem with that person and the thing that has been used to make that person to be hurt I think it will always be that persons decisions and not the thing that he used, the suspect is not bitcoin but the person that is using it, Bitcoin can be a double edge, It can sometimes hurt you because of the risk involve within it.

You are correct in your analogy but its not the same thing in comparing the two just like comparing someone who is asleep and the other who is dead while one can wake with the sound of a loud music, the other cannot. That being said, knife can be used to kill but when it happen, the person involved can be made to face the crime he has committed with the knife tendered as an evidence while in the case of bitcoin, it cannot even be traced to the individual who could be said to have master minded the attack ( this is the position of the regulators and their argument against bitcoin).

However, if the course you are following is a noble one, then I don't see why it should be a secretive one and mind you, to do that would soon even end by the time the KYC is taken to a new height just to ensure the person behind the bitcoin is identified.

With bitcoin you can send coins without revealing your identity if you are holding the coins, but the problem with it is that if you are cashing out or trying to purchase the coins through exchanges you have to provide your entire details so the level of anonymity is gone by then as you cannot find any exchanges which will allow you to trade without providing your details.

That is what mad peoples will say out of fear that more Asians will unite and become more cautious at westerners or even see westerners badly, not that the intention is to black paint westerners in the eyes of Asians.

As for bitcoin, it is the only money transaction method so far that don't equire you to register anything so it is in full secret.

It's inevitable that a silly hate movement would be pushed by incompetent people... thank your good star you're not actually doing anything relevant. If your "movement" was actually of interest or bother to anyone in the real world, you'd be annihilated with your absurd misconception of how tecnology works.

Sure, you don't need to register anything to use full wallets. and this means exactly _nothing_ with respects to anonimity. Even without entering the very complex discussion of traicing coins through the blockchain, your operations are amateurish to the point you'd be caught in mere seconds.

Bitcoin is not a provider of anonimity, and while your parody of a movement won't suffer from this, it's important to keep the record straight for those who might be seeking safety and anonimity for serious reasons. Bitcoin can be a tiny part of a secure operation, but there are other currencies, and so much more to consider.

If you are talking about ip issue then I think I can handle that stuff, just keep being mad over the movement I'm on and hoping it will not catch on.

🌟 MIRA ICO 🌟
You keep saying full secret but you are aware @kajune that Bitcoin is semi-anonymous right? In my last post too I had to straighten somebody out and say that Bitcoin isn't the most secure and safest of all the coins out there. If you wanted to do something in full secret why wouldn't you use a privacy coin like Monero, Dash, or DeepOnion?

I'm afraid to tell you that Bitcoin is far from providing 100% anonymity. Unless you're being extremely cautious and careful when doing any type of trasactions online (in this case, you're either doing something really sketchy or you're just paranoid), there are ways to know who sent btc. Otherwise, if anyone wants to fund a project, a cause, or anything that is legit, then yes, Bitcoin can give you the privacy and anonymity you want.

Btw, that "movement" you're in is one of the stupidest things I've found in this forum. I mean, I don't understand how westeners are doing any harm to asians by simply putting on a costume. The person who started that movement needs to seek some help, asap.

Your website for your cause is one of the funniest things I've ever seen on the internet. And I've seen a hella lot of internet.

I like that you say that "51% of the funds raised will be for the cause, and 49% will be for something else."

And that your "views" counter is a fixed image.

You really did put a lot of work into this crazy thing. Shine on.

Most peoples who don't like the anti western cosplayers movement are just mad at the possibility that now bitcoin make it much easier to fund the movement in full secret so anyone can participate without worrying of being detected by those who hate the movement.

Flying Hellfish is a Commie
It's not, and its never going to be in full secret. You're going to have to ensure it is though, which is something that can never be 100 percent. Even by using mixers and new wallets for each tx it's not going to do you a ton of good.

Being cautious is all that you can do and make sure your purchases are anon if you want to be anon.Funding things in super secret does sound sketchy though.
