Yes it was quite an awesome find; if you haven’t yet figured it out; even larger agencies such as Microsoft and Newegg are accepting your bitcoin as payment. Newegg even pays it’s affiliates with bitcoin, so for those of you who are willing to make a website niche based around computer technology and want to receive bitcoin as payment for your affiliation, I suggest you go to Newegg.

I thought Microsoft announced that they stopped accepting bitcoin?

Only in some countries. In Australia, Microsoft doesn't accept bitcoin yet.

wow so they really started to accept bitcoins now , this is really good for the market
I have read an article about Steam one month ago I guess and they stated that they may accept bitcoins in the future but now it's official as I see
it's really amazing to see such big name dealing  with BTC

it has been official when they sent out emails to their developers saying they will add bitcoin even before the actually added it.
and you can easily check that,. just open up steam any of the markets and try to buy something and you will see there is a bitcoin logo alongside other things like credit card.

I just noticed that on Steam, I went to purchase something and as a payment option Bitcoin was there. I tried it and it is extremely easy and simple. How long has this been there?

Its been quite a month and they are getting lots of bitcoin transactions these days. They are using bitpay payment gateway to process all purchases via bitcoin with 0 confirmation required that is instant purchase can be made via bitcoin.

I don't understand why people buy with BTCs there. In comparision with my country money for example the values aren't right. BTC costs more on a Exchange than on Steam shop.

It's a great update for sure, but they are devaluating the real price of BTC.

Seems like you weren't active enough in the forums back then. The bitcoin adoption from steam was kind of a fuzz nearly a month ago. A lot of people have actually been using it and as far as I know, I haven't seen any report or issues myself and from other people.

It has been there not to long ago I believe that it has only been a month or so. But this will definitely benefit them both without a doubt.
With this both Bitcoin and Steam can become more and more popular.
actually, steam has started to accepting bitcoin as their payment processor just about 2 weeks ago by looking to few threads which inform that steam starting to accept bitcoin recently, for example : https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/steam-accepting-bitcoin-1459264
but it still have the chance to be removed, maybe it's for testing purpose so,will be looking forward

is not just about how frequently they use credit cards.
most of the steam users are minor (younger people and many kids) and all over the world none of them have credit cards because they are underage or it is too soon to have a credit card so they either have to pay using their parents or they can easily use bitcoin with their own wallet.
Exactly! That's what I was not thinking. Yes, this is also the cause of integration Bitcoins.
Bitcoin is still a great thing, for all ages.
However, there exist games that are intended for persons over 18 years.

Steam accepts Bitcoins On April 27
Valve itself turned to BitPay payment service with a proposal to integrate it into their gaming platform. The company was primarily interested in is to allow Bitcoin payment players in emerging markets - India, China and Brazil, where credit cards are used less frequently than in developed countries.

it is not just about how frequently they use credit cards.
most of the steam users are minor (younger people and many kids) and all over the world none of them have credit cards because they are underage or it is too soon to have a credit card so they either have to pay using their parents or they can easily use bitcoin with their own wallet.

This is so great that steam is introducing the bitcoin to the gamers. Allot of publicity came for the butcoin
while there are many others who doesn't know anything about the coin these years and days.
