I did not find any retailers which sell goods/services for crypto only since bitcoin is not yet known as a currency by many countries. I think we can buy something in the store online and the price of the product is not too expensive so we can spend our bitcoin to buy that product. I think this will be a good business for a small store that wants to sell something and receive payment with crypto and that store can use altcoin too for the payment if the bitcoin transaction takes too long to get confirmed.

Does anyone know of retailers which sell goods/services for crypto only with no option of payment made in fiat?

Could this represent a good business model for a small store with an online only presence?

There must be some holding alts who are fustrated by the lack of options in terms items they can spend their coins on. While there are many options for bitcoin, for the most part alts are neglected and there isn't a huge market where they can be utilized without first having to convert to btc.

Could support for ripple, eth, bcc, doge, ltc, dash and other alts be a good foundation upon which to build a small business?

 Huh

I'm sure you can buy anything in fiat or bitcoin, it only depends if seller will accept both or only bitcoins. I don't think that ripple and other alt coins support could help small business though, but bitcoins could help.

Crypto means business now and soon. Everything will start from bitcoin, altcoin will be selected. This is what i see. Thanks Wink
Actually, crypto means not visible. Bitcoin is a crypto currency that only lives in the cyberworld. Nowadays, some countries implemented bitcoin as there way of transaction. Some countries already legalized bitcoin and sone are not due to there government that might be affected there.economy which will differ the equivalent fiats money that they have.
The fact is that I do not want to deny the importance of Bitcoin today and in the future, but I want to clarify that there is no real blood for today, although its price is huge. If we compare Bitcoin and ether or other altcoin, then ether and altcoins have a value, precisely because of the functions they perform. But this does not apply to Bitcoin.
I think that bitcoin has greater value than any other currency paper, fiat or cryptocurrency of the world. I realize that crypto is a virtual currency but we can feel the importance and trust of the people around the globe. Nobody can deny the importance of bitcoin in the present and it will be the mainstream in the future. People can use bitcoin for purchasing anything anywhere in the world.

It also gives a profitable source to those jobless people. Bitcoin can buy different things via online though it never been implemented and I believed it will be legalized soon. Also, it may lead a good progress to our economy by having a good income to those people relying the bitcoin era.

As of now, I don't think there are retailers or marketers that sell good or services with cryptocurrencies as exclusive means of payment. I think that would not be a wise choice for them because money is still more main stream and is more widely used by people. For now, crypto-payment is only an additional option because even companies that use it are only in their testing or experimentation stages. On the topic if its a good business move to allow cryptos to be used as payment; I would say yes because it gives people more options and it opens revenue to other customers that are not local to where the physical shop is.

I would really appreciate if there is any in my locality but it's really difficult to get one. The only place I see it happening will be countries where the popularity of bitcoin has reached a point where entrepreneurs can have a move to establish their project and because of the popularity, there is hardly need to do much publicity as the market is already aware of bitcoin.

Over here on the otherhand, the market is not there yet as the first few years will be about enlightening the entire populace and if the money is not coming in fast, business cash flows runs into problem, the end is in sight. But this is a fertile ground to be assessed because buying from abroad will make it more expensive.

Without disclosing my specific location, I can tell you that here where I live in the eastern side of the United States there are various Bitcoin-accepting retailers in a certain part of the city. However, these are mostly just local stores-- I have yet to see a franchise or a branch of a big store such as a Target accepting Bitcoin. Hopefully, this will change some time in the near future.
Mate! That is a start. It is always from somewhere and then we start seeing more merchants and stores adopting it.

The fact that your local stores in your area are already adopting its usage in reality is even enough and that makes it even more interesting. Gradually, when even the bigger players start seeing the real life usage coming to play, then it would be easy to start seeing multi adoption of the digital currency.

And that is where you should see business opportunities in your locality. You would have appreciated having something like that in your locality and then imagine the number of people in your locality that would have appreciated having something like that too. Why not start up something similar and then target your local area and see yourself earn a lot from there.

Business oppurtunity with bitcoin cannot be find any location but the normal business can be done yourself or anyone. If you want to start your business in your location with you need to spread the bitcoin and its features to the people. Then you will be able to use the business as payment option, investment based business like trading or mining also possible.

it depends on what business you want to launch, I think receiving payment using cryptocurrency is very suitable applied for business or online store. You will have many customers from this community if the goods you sell can easily attract people and friendly prices. Delivery throughout the country should be available if you want to open an online store by receiving payment from bitcoin.

 Huh

I strongly believe in Bitcoin only stores, but do believe they are a bit premature. Here's why:

Bitcoin must first become a true medium of exchange(or currency). At the moment, because of its volatility, it is treated more as a commodity.

Commodity currencies have proven better time and time again, but due to greed and practicality, Fiat money is king. Now, Bitcoin has solved the traditional problems commodity currencies have faced, like scarcity, divisibility, convenience, etc.

BUT, here's the good news:

According to Austrian Economics, a commodity that comes into general use as a medium of exchange is money. The concept of a "medium of exchange" is precise. But when exactly comes a medium of exchange into "common" or "general" use is not strictly definable.

So it is definitely the future. At what point it happens, and how it happens remains to be seen.
