If you are planning to hold for several years then go for Ethereum. During the recent market correction, Ethereum has crashed, so it is very cheap now.
If you are looking for long-term reliable assets for your portfolio, then (I also agree) either of these two suits. Each of its can be taken in equal parts. I like ETH, thanks to its functionality so I prefer to have ETH 2/3 and BTC 1/3. Compared to many alts, bitcoin and ether are identical.
Ethereum and bitcoin has a very good potential for long time investments, both has proven a very good improvement in the past year. It is good to invest to both of them for me.
I totally agree with you bro, both is the best coins in 2 higher rank at CMC. So in my opinion we can choice both to invest for long term investment, I believe we can get more profit from it.

Make a long term investment for bitcoin than ethereum. Buy coins when its price is low. Better to have investment not only to bitcoin or to ethereum, much better if you put your money to different investment. Remember that "do not put all your eggs in one basket."

Choose both. Ethereal and Bitcoin are the two best long-term investment coin in the market. 20 days ago I bought ETH for 400$ and Bitcoin was 6800$. and now I have 50% profit. No need to do anything. btc for sure is best everyone will including me will suggest to hold this coin for long term if u has it or just buy anytime u will not in loss for sure with this crypto
This two are the best if you want yo hold them for a long time. Neither one of them can give you a good profit. And i can't really choose between this two. So i buy some bitcoin and ethereum. So far they are growing big compared when i buy them last month.
I cant really choose from two since both are dominating crypto in the market as of now.Btc is forefather and is in demand while ethereum is a first smart contract for all tokens.So all I can suggest is holding both.I’ll invest half for btc and half for ethereum so that if both the 2 will excel then a big profit for me.
It is good to choose both bitcoin and ethereum as these are profitable. No doubt on these two coins from the start it was on demand more users on this cryptocurrency. Why compare on btc and ethereum? For me both are good for long term investment.

As you might have already read on this thread, you have to do your own research, especially if you are looking at a coin's long term prospects.
That being said, allow me to share my opinion that ETH is much better for long term because it can do so much more than just be a coin. We have already have lots of that and fiat also serves that purpose. Ethereum on the other hand is a platform and a system that can do so much more with smart contracts. Invest wisely.

I think you should buy ETH and hold it in the long run. But at this point you should not buy extra ETH. I think this is a shark's trap. They put a lot of money into the Crypto market and made many people buy blindly. for us bitcoin and ethereum are also very profitable both long and short term, because in the case of a very good price increase in the future, especially now that both coins are also back up well, so we will more easily make money.
for the price of course bitcoin will be higher for the long term. but to get the advantage seemed far greater ethereum provide benefits if for long term investment.

I prefer choosing ethereum rather than bitcoin. As you can see in the chart. Ethereum is faster to pump than bitcoin. Also research for their team and whitepaper.

I prefer ETH, because it is fully decentralized and also please see the price, it reached near 700$ from 360$ and when BTC reached 9200 from 6000. please think witch one of them is better?

I'd choose both coins for long term investment and hold them for about 2-3 years if you are only holding it for profits. That would be enough for you to withdraw them or invest on another coin again with great potential for growth. And at least if you invest in both, you won't have to regret why you did not buy the other coin too, so it is kind of a win-win situation in this case.
