I would go for bitcoin and not ethereum because bitcoin is a very great asset and it is already tested by a lot of people and it is proven for being a good asset and investment for long term purposes. Bitcoin could be possibly the future of our money because it can develop a lot of things that can be use in the future because of the blockchain technology.
No one is voting for the ethereum and this show the seriousness of people about bitcoin and in future this will increase more as the price of bitcoin rise more and the community become more dense then maybe ethereum get a chance to glow a bit but remember one thing bitcoin will stay on the throne of crypto forever because it has delivered more than people expect and all these are reason to not to vote to ethereum.

Im trying to get some eth to play some icos. Whats a good price to wait for right now
If you want to get profits, buy Bitcoin. If you want a coin that you can't send anywhere, buy ETH. Cryptokittens are blocking the ETH network.
And just look how many ETH do you need to buy a Bitcoin now? Maybe 40 ETH for 1 BTC. And it is going to be much more after Bitcoin is going to jump.

Right now both coins are bullish but in the near future I'm expecting this run to turn over. It's too risky to hold in coins but I'm still holding %35 of my portfolio in coins. I hope we can get out before crash. I wouldn't suggest you to buy more at this time.

ofcourse btc is much more ok than eth. right now btc price is moving at a faster pace compared to previous months. So its muh better if you would go for eth to make profit much faster

The BTC price continues to fluctuate now. so I recommend to trade BTC now. compared with ETH, BTC is more profitable.

Your budget and targeted timing should explicitly show you which to choose.
If you have 12,000USD to invest and you want a return in 2weeks then you know where to stick it. But if your exit timing is 12months and with 2000USD i'd say just put into ETH please or even LISK.

Ofcourse bitcoin, bitcoin is the better one than ethereum; because of the excellent performance of the company and management of bitcoin they become always on the top.

both are good. but my opinion you buy this two and any others crypt currency/tokens. now a days bitcoin price incise. after 3 month later all the token and crypt price will be raised. and you will gain.
If I were to choose between the two, I am going to choose ETH because it still has a lower price than bitcoin. And you can buy more depending on your budget.

I agree BTC has already jumped a lot and may be at its peak, but with futures trading starting soon its impossible to predict how much further it will go up. One thing is sure though, ETH prices will go up soon after BTC has a small period with little movement in price. The only downside to ETH right now is the network congestion that's eroding peoples confidence in the currency.

So my opinion, that technology is outdated by means of transaction speed and cost of operation. But as I said - it is in the unbelievable hype. I think this hype will end in the moment when Bitcoin will face significant stop in money income (actually it is Ponzi now). Ethereum has different grounding, it supports smart contracts and is the base of many dapps, but ETH quantity is not fixed. So overall it cannot rise as BTC. But in the moment my favorite choice would be ETH before BTC, as BTC price is actually driven only by hype and forks which are coming are not the good sign, as people in Bitcoin do not agree on anything and so many forks are unsustainable. Ethereum is blockchain of choice for most of dapps coming to the market.
